the item came early. used the item that day. works as advertise. make searching for gold easy and quick. i give this item the best item i have bought in a long time.

I paid for a brand new one but I got one that had been used and had damage to it

1: the contraption is buggy. if you plan on working it in the desert, COVER THE MOTOR or place in some sort of tent to shade the unit and keep it from overheasting.2: lousy filtration system (pantyhose) to keep the weeds and small chips from clogging the pump, go to a (professional) paint store and ask for some 'socks'. such as a reaves painter sock for more durability.3: Have a PROBLEM WITH THE MACHINE? The coots who sell this thing (with a lot of propaganda)don't like fielding questions from some poor sap who discovered a flaw. like the correct angle to use to get the best recovery based on particle size. Ask the maker more than 3 questions about any of this, and they'll block your emails for life.4: If you have to send the thing back for repairs, you may have to find a box, and pay shipping charges. The dealer may cut you a break, but some do not

This group is awesome. Showed up as expected. All the parts were there and its build better than expected. Wish i had ordered my gold buddy sluce from them . The one i ordered from Amazon was missing parts.

I'm giving the desert Fox only Two stars. I did purchase this on Amazon. First off I want to say that the unit does work and it takes time to figure out the pan pitch and water pressure. It will catch gold. However.The company claims that the product is made in the USA. That's a great marketing tool, however most of the parts on this unit are cheap and poorly designed. The water turn on valve is basically a toilet valve. Heavy and awkward. The photo shows a copper spray tube but I got aluminum. Feels very cheap. The water flow tub is welded on to the flow pipe. The problem here is the pump. The cheapest most useless pump was included in this unit with a complimentary pantyhose to keep the crap out. Unfortunately I spemt more time unclogging this unit with debris than actually gold panning. The sprayer will get clogged and water flower over the pan will clog. This is a result of a poor pump, and low quality materials. There is no way it can run 70 pounds of concentrates an hour. It will be lucky to process seven pounds without getting clogged and this was bench tested in my garage and not out in the field thank goodness. The unit is placed in a cheap Rubbermaid container that you really have to horse around with to get the unit to sit still. The unti circulates the water in this tub and it gets dirty and muddy really quick.I have mine set up at home on a bench at home. I have replace the submersible water pump with a non submersible unit that takes in only clean water and pumps the dirty water into another container so it can't be contaminated. This seems like the only way it can work properly and catch gold.At almost 400 dollars the way this unit is currently designed is so problematic that it is not worth the price because you will have to modify the unit if you don't want to spend most of your time frustrated at this units inability to remain clog free.My advice to the manufacturer:Use quality parts. Who cares if it's made in the USA when it's cheap (crappy). Make these units in China with superior parts and technology and drop the pretense. It looks like it was made by a plumber. The quality cannot justify the price, no matter where it's made. You might have 50 dollars in actual materials to build this unit.I'll continue to use this unit but only to modify it and upgrade it myself to so it can work properly

Everything was new except the wheel. Dirty and beat up. If it's "new" then it's all new and not just some of it new. Very disappointed! I returned it, never even set it up. It was for my daughter's birthday and this is why I paid more to get it Prime. Now she is really sad (and I'm not happy).
