Very Nice Transfer Chair
Nice transfer wheelchair. It is very sturdy and feels much more like a standard wheelchair than most flimsy transfer chairs. It is still a fairly heavy chair though so just be aware. Wheels were a little cumbersome to attach but otherwise, the rest was very easy. It is also narrow enough that I can go from room to room in my house without having to remove the doors from the frames.

Does the job well
There may be times when a walker/rollator is not enough for a patient but a conventional wheelchair seems too much. Then, a transfer chair makes sense. This Medline chair is lighter and folds more compactly than a wheelchair. The 12” wheels handle uneven surfaces. The chair is comfortable, well-made, handles up to 300 pounds, and is offered by a known company who markets a wide variety of healthcare products.

Very light wheelchair
As my husband and myself are getting older. I got this because it's not heavy at all. I love the ease of folding it up. Overall, it was a good buy for us. My husband manages to squeeze me into tight spaces. Very easy to assemble.

Excellent Product for the Money
I would have rated this chair a five star except for one problem. In the end the chair did what it advertised and did it well, considering the price. I needed a transport chair for my wife. She already has a standard wheelchair but at 45-50 pounds, it was too heavy to easily fold it and put it in my car.1) it appears to be well made and feels sturdy2) it weighs about 33-34 pounds with legs attached; about 27pounds or so without the legs attached.3) assembly was relatively easy. It only took about 15 minutes following the manual. Probably less than 5 minutes if I had to do it a second time.4) it is a transport chair and requires someone to push the rider. It is not designed as a self propelled chair.5) a nice feature is that the legs snap on easily and swivel to the side if not needed. When at the side they are held In place by clips installed there. Alternately, they can be easily removed simply by lifting them off the pins they are mounted to.6) wheels are sufficiently large to provide a smooth ride on floors sidewalks, etc. Probably not so good on gravel surfaces.7) the design of the arms allowed for a nice fit at a restaurant.8) at about $150 I think this chair is a bargain. Other chairs with similar features were priced a lot higherNow that problem I mentioned earlier. It has been mentioned often before. When I attached the legs to the assembled chair, a very easy process, the foot pads were oriented incorrectly. There didn’t seem to be any conclusion other than they were the wrong legs. I remembered reading about this issue in other ratings and reread them. Sure enough an enterprising user had solved this problem by simply pressing the leg adjustment pins in and turning the legs 180 degrees. Sounds simple, was simple, but definitely not intuitive. So, MY MESSAGE TO THE MANUFACTURER: you have a very good product. Please take the time to ship the legs properly oriented. If you have too much inventory already boxed and can’t afford to check each box, then, AT LEAST, put an addendum paper in each box explaining that the legs may need an adjustment and how to do it.

Lighter weight but...
This chair is a pleasing color, and so far, a month in, the fabric is durable.Pluses versus old chairLighter weight. Folds down smaller. Fun color. Higher handles.CONSNarrower seat. Sides of seat are open, rather than solid, so stuff I put next to me falls out. Smaller back wheels do not allow me to "push" myself. Arm rests are hard plastic and not padded. This doesn't become an issue until you spend a longer ride in the chair, but over bumps and any surface that is not perfectly smooth, your arms bang against the rests. While this may not seem terrible, be mindful of it for those "passengers" who are more fragile.Overall, good price, nice color, but it is missing some details that would have increased comfort. I'm glad my husband has less to lift. I'm less glad about my elbows and some thoughtful details.

Super handy and portable
I bought this transport wheelchair to use for my mother who would be visiting us and who has limited mobility. We found this wheelchair to be perfect. It folded enough to fit perfectly behind the rear seat in our tiny hatchback and was super quick to fold and reopen. She found it very comfortable and we were able to show her all of the sights around the Charleston, SC area thanks to it.It does require assembly on receipt, but assembly was very straight forward.

Looks good, terrible design flaw! Not worth purchasing
First thing is- if you are looking for a RED chair, this one is not red. It’s more burgundy/wine color. Not bad looking, but not red. When it arrives, you have to install the wheels, not a huge deal, but good to know. The leg/footrests are mostly assembled, but took me a bit to get the orientation right. Even after comparing to an existing chair we had, I couldn’t get it. It appeared I had two left footrests. Finally figured it out.My biggest complaint is that the leg rests interfere I with the movement of the front wheels. See photo. I think if they angled out the footrests more, they would clear the front wheel. This makes maneuvering nearly impossible, you have to keep readjusting the front wheel. I’ve decided to send this back. Not worth purchasing 😕I also wish that the back of the backrest had a little pocket (like so many do) to store small items (gloves, masks). The item does not reveal the weight of this item. I think it said 1 lb? Feels like about 35 lbs to me, but I didn’t have a way to weigh it.

Funcional y ligera
