Colorants 3-Ounce Blue Cement and Grout Pigment

This Colorant (blue) is great and easy to use. Although it’s simpler to dissolve it in water first it actually wasn’t necessary, once you mix it thoroughly manually or using a small mixer. I added slightly more than a bottle of colorant to about 3lbs of light blue/grey grout and got the result pictured. Ideally I would have liked a very dark blue, but to get that colour I would say you need to add 2-3 bottles of colorant to about 3 lbs of grout. The colour lightens slightly but not dramatically when the grout dries. Overall a great product. I’m looking forward to trying other colours. Probably better to use with white grout.

This was much brighter than I expected. I used it for grout colorant and ended up having to purchase a much darker grout. I ended up just buying a charcoal color grout because the dark navy shade was unacheivable with colorant.

Wonderful for mosaic pieces! Can't wait to use for mosaic stepping stones. Just a little bit for color and you can add more for darker color. Can also build color from original grout base color to get different color effects!

I used this to color grout on a tile mosaic on my wall
