Very good
Very good tape for sealing and draft proofing UPVC windows, would recommend.

Peels off paint
This is basically a thick cello tape. Doesn't do any better job than cello tape. When you remove it, it peels off all the paint, like cello tape. I would not buy this again.

Tape works well sealing a sliding glass door of my rec room. I found it does stick once applied and when pulled off, it does not leave any glue residue on the glass or on the metal frames. The problem I encountered was to get the tape off the roll without getting to curl in my hands and end up sort of tangled and sticking up upon itself. Dummy me, I know. I should have realized that unrolling small strips at a time would prevent my self-created problem. In other words, six pieces twelve inches long would be much easier to handle and work better than one six footer. OK, go ahead and laugh at my amateurish ways of dealing with weather tape, eh? At any rate, sealing done, no more cold drafts coming through the glass doors. And, a bonus? It keeps the lady bugs from sneaking through the sliding door channels and making my rec room their winter retreat. Folks, this weather tape works. It does not pull off wall paint or messes up stained wood frames. Recommended.

Very pleased with this tape. Very sticky and has a stretch to it (see picture) which makes it way easier to apply and to fix minor mistakes you might make along the way. Comes off and reapplies fine if you mess up, provided the surfaces are clean. I'd say it's about 2-3 times as thick as packing tape, so still on the thin side, but perfect for the job in my case. It doesn't feel fragile. Doesn't leave any residue in the short term, but I'll be interested in finding out whether it still comes off clean in a few months.

This tape is so great. I rarely write reviews. But my patio door is a nightmare for insulation (previous owner installed it not quite right). We had -51C with windchill last week. I taped all the areas where you could feel a literal breeze. Messed up a few times and just removed the tape strip and used that same piece again. Super sticky still even on the second try. My room now is finally warm and all the ice build up is gone now too since the heat isn't escaping. I was skeptical, but it is fantastic. You could do nearly 6 patio windows with one roll. Love it!

The classic tape that comes with the plastic, weather, window shrink, never stays up. I bought this as a substitute to tape the plastic to the window frame. It is wide enough and holds very strong and at the same time it is removable, without taking the paint with it. To use just as on window spaces where the wind comes in, can help a bit, but with really bad windows, I’d use caulk string, then the tape over it, then the plastic shrink. It’s not perfect, but better than other window options on the market. And with the tape alone, it helped seal a bit, and you can tell the difference in chill.

This was a great addition to the winter weather proofing we do throughout our home. Its very strong and stops drafts as well as holding other weather stripping in place for the winter. The only issue is I found it took a bit of stain off of the wood finish when I removed it at the end of the season.
