It is Easy, and not expensive
Easy to install and we are done in no time. Just be prepared with a sponge soak the last bit of water. I am disappointed this failed so soon, it's been 2 years and had to be replaced?

Be brave. Go outside your comfort zone. The water in the tank is clean.
Works great. Very easy for an unhandy 5' tall female retired accountant to install. No issues whatsoever. I did watch a bunch of YouTube videos first though.

Itās not an OEM part
Itās a Fluidmaster part not actual American Standard. I was trying to buy an OEM part. Maybe they use these in their toilets now. I could have bought this at Loweās.

So simple and works perfectly
Easy to install and worked perfectly. The float adjustment made fine tuning the flush so simple.

Perfect!!
The American Standard Cadet 3 Single Piece toilets are known for there flush valves going bad. I replaced it and replaced this fill valve as well. Itās very easy to install. Just take the old one out and match the adjusted lengths of the new to the old. The n adjust water level if needed. Piece of cake! Good quality replacement valve!

NOT GENUINE AMERICAN STANDARD PART!!
SCAMAZON got me on this one! I was deliberately looking for a genuine American Standard replacement part for my toilet. Saw this one and bought it. Paid about 30% more for it because it said it was genuine A. S. part. It arrived in a plain white box and inside itās just a Fluidmaster fill valve. Even the instructions say Fluidmaster. The Fluidmaster valve fits and works just fine but had I known about it I wouldāve just ordered a Fluidmaster part and saved $10+ dollars I overpaid. I was in a pinch had to get the toilet fixed otherwise I would have returned it. Just buy the Fluidmaster cheaper somewhere else.

The product arrived quickly and was as advertised. Clear installation instructions as well as online videos if needed. Hard to give a 5 star review, however, for the cost of what amounts a few simple plastic parts to fix a toilet!.
