I feel like it should have been 1/2 inch wider
This added bottom piece of trim was necessary to do the conversion on my 2008 Dodge Sprinter 3500.I had to have it painted, which cost $200 at the body shop. Also, it isn't quite wide enough and I have had a hard time installing it. I may end up cutting it in half in the center and splicing it together with some metal and bolts and then covering the splice with some plastic. I feel like it should have been 1/2 inch wider.That being said, I sure like the Mercedes grille instead of the Dodge!

Protective layer flaking off now
2022 update: there is a protective, clear layer like shell that started to flake off after rainwater somehow penetrated it.
