JuicedLink RM202 Riggy-Micro Dual-XLR Preamplifier, No Phantom Power

This little box is expensive, but transformed my audio from ok to fantastic! It took a little fiddling within the menu of my camera and the adapter, but once it was set, I get a clean and hiss free, solid 12db signal on peak to my left channel and a solid, right channel mixdown that if I ever do clip(seriously doubt it), it can be used.There are a are switches on it, that can be intimidating at first. But I watched the companies YouTube videos that explained everything quickly. I also learned a bit more about the audio coming into the device, so it's a win, win.But the device is very solid in construction and features. Well worth the cost!

Difficult to get decent audio probably will never use it.

This is a great pre-amp! I used this to film over 800 videos on location for a ski and snowboard shop. I also contacted the company and they even suggested some setup pointers. I used it with a Mark III and a Rode boom mic. Nice clean sound took the hiss out of the sound you get with DSLR cameras. Be sure to read up on which one you need this one is perfect for cameras with meters and the ability to control your gain. It also held up in the cold very well, stood outside for 3 days for 8 hours at a time it was in the 20's.

I expected great audio using this device. It met my expectations! Very easy to use. Just plug and play pretty much and your ready to use! Great product! It made using my Nikon D800 more versitile. Great equipment addition!

I'm loving this juiced link. Not having to mess with an external recorder is almost priceless.. I wish they'd send me a sticker so I can put it on my pelican case..
