The looked great, but the larger pieces fell off when the sun hit them and softened the glue on the magnets.

I have never wrote a negative review before, but this magnet set was awful. I have ordered garage magnets before that were full size magnets covering the whole back side of the picture or lettering. These do not. They were made out of the paper with strips of light weight magnets on the back. Even the up and down movement of the garage door would make them fall off. I should have asked for my money back. Don't buy this item.

Well, they did look good on the garage door. But...took me awhile to attach the magnets to each and every piece of the decoration kit. Every day I would come home from work, there would be several pieces laying on the ground as the magnet glue was crap and kept coming apart. Had I known each piece itself was not a magnet, I would have never bought it. Since I have it, I will probably just super glue the magnets on and hopefully it will last.

Love the item as it looks great on our garage door but a little misleading in the description. I had been searching for some decorative magnets to put on our roll up garage door to complement all of our house and yard Christmas decor. One thing I truly wanted were magnets that were actually magnetic! This meant I was expecting the tree, candy cane, letters, etc to all be one big magnet that you just pull out of the bag and stick on your surface.Unfortunately, this was not the case. I ended up having to cut, peel apart and stick the strips of magnets on the backs of the pieces of the decorations. And the candy canes and Christmas tree are actually two halves and not all one piece.While this was not a huge deal, it did disappoint me as I was specifically not wanting this type of decor. I wanted a solid magnetic back on each entire piece. It didn't take too long to put them together though and they did hold up well on our garage door. While we don't have horrible weather swings here in So Cal, we did get a bit of truly windy and rainy days this year and the magnets held up well and did not fall off at all. They also bent nicely and moved with the roll up door with no problems...you just need to make sure they are not on the actual parts of the door that bend as it is rolling up.Finally, one little nit picky thing that bothered me but is again not a big deal is that I wish they would have made one of the candy canes so that it faced the other direction so they looked a little more uniform.Overall, a fine product which should hold up easily for several years. For the price, you can't beat it.

These are darling and a very cheerful addition to our Christmas decorating, but the magnetic strips are completely worthless. Every one fell off, had to use hot glue to hold them on, then the magnetism wasn't strong enough for the door. I ended up buying photo magnet sheets from Rite Aid and cut those up and its held up for a month now.

AFTER MINOR ASSEMBLE, WHICH I WAS NOT EXPECTING, THE STIX'S WERE SATISFACTORY. I HAVE ANOTHER SET FROM ELSEWHERE, AND THE OTHER SET STICKS TO DOOR MUCH BETTER.. BUT FOR THE PRICE, THESE WERE ALRIGHT

They were cardboard that you had to glue on to the magnets. So the first rain or snowfall they are going to fall apart becasue they are PAPER. I was very disappointed with this product. Becasue this is an outside product for a garage door I would have thought they would have come in material that is made for outside, I was shocked to learn that they were cardboard stock paper that needed to be glued to the magnet!
