I love this product. I looked everywhere for something that would look decent on my nice couch and would protect it. Forget the tape, my cat LOVED it -- she just scratched it more. Then I tried the spray but it kept breaking. This works very well, looks good, and is reasonably priced.

Product works as promised. So far so good!

The media could not be loaded. Ok so it is a thick piece of plastic material. It came bent in half inside the package and won’t unbend ? Umm it had 1 whole in each corner where you are supposed to put the little thing to attatch it to your furniture but it’s not sticking anywhere else so my cats will Deff try to pull this off. I really don’t recommend this to stop your cats from scratching furniture . Maybe having one side that is sticky with the attachments would be better ...

Believe it or not, it worked! I used both strips to cover the corner of our bed, which was the cat's favorite place to scratch. (Tip: layer them so the top overlaps the bottom, that way the claws don't catch.) Eventually he just stopped scratching! We have been sans plastic for a couple weeks and not a single scratch! (The upholstery pins are less wonderful, but I don't think any upholstery pins are actually great, so that part didn't bother me.)

I purchased this item to prevent my dogs from scratching our door. The concept is simple but genius. When it arrived it was missing the 3M locks. So, I called Amazon and although they made suggestions on an alternative option, I insisted I needed the 3M locks as recommended. They then gave me the contact number for Clawguard and I called them directly. Kevin, the founder and CEO, answered the call and overnighted the locks immediately. Problem solved. Excellent customer service.

Pretty heavy duty, but has pin-like attachments to attach it to the arm. My cat went after them right away.

I was concerned that I was going to have a couch that would look comically encased in plastic, but that has not been the case at all. I no longer even notice them. One thing's for sure--this is one product that works! My recently adopted alpha cat no longer even looks at my couch. He got the message somehow that the whole thing is off-bounds.Highly recommended!

2 pieces are just the start. With some cats, you would need quite a few of these. They have a good length, especially for sofas-- prime target for cat claws.They are thicker than you might expect without being stiff. They will obviously last and last. I hate to criticize an item that is so sturdy, but could it not be a little thinner with twice as many? Once kitty feels the plastic, I am guessing they will not be going back to try again and again. If you use enough of these, kitty may actually deign to use the scratching post!Very clear, shiny, plastic. While the shininess of the plastic picks up reflections easily, the plastic is quite easy to overlook and does not seem to call attention to itself. The shape is perfect for sofa corners.I like that it has six holes to hold it down because the plastic is packaged with a soft bend which would cause it to lift off the fabric in the middle otherwise. Still, you could use just 4 at the corners.The smell of the plastic, which persists at least a couple of weeks, may be part of the deterrent.The curved furniture pins are very easy to insert into soft fabric, but are sometimes a bit tricky with thicker folds of fabric.If you want to cut these 2 pieces into smaller ones for some applications, there are upholstery pins available from craft stores and amazon, such as ASIN B00Q87O00U

Wasn’t what I expected .. very small

Fueron el remedio para que mi gatita dejara de rascar mi sillón , me funcionaron perfecto. Tienen un olor curioso al sacarlos de la caja pero desaparece al día siguiente . Los volvería a comprar, sin dudas.
