I bought these to round out the edges on Guitar frets. They share my purpose very well and are certainly less expensive than many of the alternatives. I sometimes know it is a crapshoot on stuff like this, but this one worked out great.

This is a clever tool that does things that other mass produced tools can not. It was better than a dremel for precise control. It also can be more precise than most files. The surprising feature which I loved was that the sandpaper easily rotates around the stick. But it stays in place during use. So after you wear out the small section by the tip, you just rotate it half inch to get fresh sandpaper on the tip. Just don’t rip through the backing paper or the entire band is trash. It does come with lots of replacements. For the money I would have wanted cloth backed sandpaper (usually it’s black). it came with decent quality abrasive paper but I did tear through the paper backing on a band. I feel this improvement request is just based on the price point. Had it been $5 less I think the paper backed abrasive would have been good value. The plastic holders are decent quality. They are rigid with a tiny amount of give. I would buy this again.

These are great for tight spots.

Study construction. I'm able to get a job grip and get the sandpaper where I need it. Having four sticks allows you to have four different grits so you don't need to switch back and forth. The spring loaded stick has good tension, keeping the strips of sandpaper in place. I thought the sticks being plastic would allow too much bending, but they are very rigid. Very useful product.

I rec'd this item some time ago and just today put it to a most strenuous test, these detail sanders passed with flying, in the stratosphere, colours. Very durable, functional, and useful! As hard as I worked and bore down, NOT one time did the sandpaper come apart. I never write a review unless I have put the item to the test for which it was made to do, getting it to me doesn't mandate a high rating (although a slow delivery can warrant a lesser rating). This item is a tested WINNER!

This, along with some other tools have helped immensely with post processing 3d prints in those tight, hard to sand areas. I do a lot of production quality 3d prints that are sanded, and painted such that the surface is completely smooth.

Great product but going at different angles cause the sandpaper to slide off the tool.
