Replacement Band for Garmin Forerunner 35, Silicone Replacement Fitness Bands Bracelet Sport Strap Wristband Accessory with Screwdriver for Garmin Forerunner 35

The opening to the strap has a solid bar across the middle of it that keeps it from fitting with the watch. I'm very frustrated that this product was not as described. In the photos, you can see my Garmin, and then the strap with the bar that prevents me from attaching it to the watch. I will definitely be requesting a refund.

Edit to original review: I have to retract my original 1-star review because the fact that the band “didn’t fit” was user error and not a design flaw or misrepresentation of the advertised product. We learned that we had to take the tiny screws off and then take the white piece off before putting the replacement band on. Sooooo...keeping the replacement band and moving this to a 5-star review since the bands perform exactly as advertised for the Garmin Forerunner 35 model.Similar to what others have said, the replacement band does not fit the Garmin Forerunner 35. Shame on me for not reading the reviews first, but bad form on this seller for claiming the product is something that it’s not. Will be returning for a refund and contacting Garmin for replacement band.

I purchased and it didn't fit Garmin 35. Ordered a replacement and it didn't fit due to plastic piece in strap where it connects to the watch. I then read several reviews and learned you have to REMOVE THE WHITE PIECE attached to the watch. I did that and Viola, the band fit. The manufacturer should include this information in the package with the replacement watch strap.

Despite what many people have written this strap does fit the Forerunner 35. The problem is that when you take the original strap off it looks as though there's a white fitting underneath that is not compatible. In fact the white fitting clips out with the old strap as well. Once you realize this the new strap fits. However, the 4 new screws that came with the strap all stripped out, just like others have said. I was lucky in so far as I was able to use the old screws. The problem really is Garmin's design as these screws are so small and the head on them so soft that it is extremely easy to strip them.

Unfortunately this band did not fit my garmen hr because it 4 yrs old. I called garmin and asked for the proper band. They not only replaced my band but the fit watch as well. I was very impressed with garmin and their customer service. I got the replacement in 3 days!

At first it looked like the strap just did not match the watch. That is because the plastic base part of the old strap was still attached. I watched Garmin's instruction video and the lady in the video just snapped it off with her fingers. There was no way to actually do that. Prying with screwdrivers and knives did not work. Eventually I resorted to a vice grip and a lot of force. The vice grip goes from one flat end of the base part to the other. Once the vice grip is fastened on securely, you wiggle it around and pull until the thing comes off. After that it was easy and I also improved my vocabulary in the process.

The band is a good fit for the Forerunner 30. It doesn't claim to be but the photos matched so I took a chance. It is even a better color match since mine came with a grey band. The black matches the watch very well.The Torx driver was unable to remove one old screw and I think that was because they sent a T4 while the screws were actually T5.Installation hint - start the screws first, before trying to put it on the watch and be sure to clear the holes of any excess rubber. Don't neglect to remove that white plastic bit - it's part of the band, not the watch.

Was easy to pull the old band off and put this new one on. The tool that comes with the new screws doesn’t fit perfect so it would be very easy to strip them out so be careful! I ended up reusing the old screws because they were a little shorter. I also started the screws in the band without them on the watch and dug a little bit of the excess rubber out that was causing the screws to want to strip even more! Works great just be careful!
