The Littlest Peanut: An Inspirational Baby Book for both journaling and tracking your preemie's milestones in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

This is a very special book to keep memories of the time your baby is in the NiCU. This was a gift for someone else.

When our baby came surprisingly early, a lot of the items in her baby book I originally bought changed. We no longer had our first bath, among other "firsts" at home as a family - instead these were in the hospital by nursing staff or with the nursing staff. Every time I would go to fill out my "normal" baby book I would just get sad, knowing that our experience was so different than we anticipated it to be. When I found this book on Amazon I was so excited! When we received it there were finally things we could be happy about accomplishing as a NICU family - things like her first day off of CPAP, or the day she got her bilirubin lights taken off. I would highly recommend this journal (and a couple fine point sharpies!) as a gift for any NICU family or for any new NICU parents to have for themselves.

My son was born at 29.5 weeks and spent 6 weeks in the NICU. I wanted a way to capture both normal and preemie milestones and found this book. I enjoyed filling this out and adding pictures as he grew and graduated from the NICU.

Excellent book for documenting your baby's NICU life. I got this book knowing our severely growth restricted baby would have a long NICU stay. NICU and premature babies hit very different milestones that should be celebrated than full term babies, and this book is a way to celebrate. It has guided journal pages on things you want to remember about your baby's NICU journey, but that you forget all too soon in the stress of having a sick baby. There are pages on: respiratory milestones, bilirubin levels, feeding milestones (including feeding tube, first bottle, etc) and places to write tests and test results. There are also several extra pages for journaling, plus a guest book to remember your visitors. Oh and my favorite page, a week by week growth chart that you can track their growth. This is sweet book that really helped me get through our NICU stay, and will be a great keepsake to remember all my baby girl went through.

Best gift for NICU parents. Our son was born at 28 weeks and spent 66 days in the NICU. A baby book never even crossed our minds at the time, we were just focused on our sons care and progress. Our stellar NICU nurse gave it to us filled with pictures and all the milestones filled out in it. She gave it to us on the day we were able to bring our son home. As a grown man Ive never cried so hard. Ive ordered this book for 3 other people I know who have since had premies. I love this little book. I tear up everytime I read through it.

Great preemie baby book! I wish I ordered it when we were in the NICU because I forgot so much already. I love how it is geared toward just NICU/preemie babies. I have to stop after a page because I’m crying thinking about what we’ve been through! Only suggestion, our other son’s baby book had pockets to put things. I would have liked that to put his preemie diaper, bilirubin mask, etc. I’ll just get a keepsake box to put things in there. Very thoughtful!

I bought this toward the end of my little one's NICU stay and wish I had bought it earlier. It made me cry reading the sweet little prayer inside. I spent hours in the chair outside his NICU isolette writing down all his milestones and everything I didn't want to forget. It was really therapeutic and will be great keepsake. Honestly, thank you so much for making this book. I hated looking at all the regular baby books because they just didn't capture what I was going through at that time. It is nice to remember the smaller milestones, the nurses, the days that made us sad and happy and remember what a little fighter we have.

My son was born premature and this book allowed us to document his journey! It gave me a project while he was in the hospital and now we’ll be able to share his story with him when he’s older. The pages could be a little more durable as they are simple book pages. Hopefully the pictures placed in the book will hold up over time. We shall see but I love it otherwise! All other baby books have “normal” milestones and go directly to one month after coming home. This book is perfect for those who have a different story to tell. Can’t say enough good things and how I will cherish this forever.
