my 4th pair
I wear my Arizona Birkenstocks all year around. In the summer as a sandal and in the winter (with socks!!) as a slipper. I love them. if you have never owned a pair you will not know that as you wear them they mould to the sole of your feet and they are hugely comfortable. They also look quite sweaty and horrible too, but they do not get smelly. At some stage the composite cork material they use for the shoe will start to breakdown but by then you have had a heck of a lot of wear out of them and you will want a new pair before they fall part. I once thought they were for yoghurt knitting hippies but now I am convinced they are a great piece of footwear.

MY FIRST EVER PAIR AND WOW
I love these! It took a few days to wear them in but once they were worn in my goodness are they comfy!! I have had so many compliments. You can adjust the straps to your own foot if, like me, you have wide feet then these are a god send! SO HAPPY for the price especially since they are twice as much in store. Thank you Amazon!

Very well made genuine leather sandals with known quality
Was little bit worried if these will be to my taste and size. But hey all fit's like a glove, thanks in part to adjustable straps. Very nice leather quality and proper thick, made long lasting. inSole is also very comfy, but I think those who ever worn Birkenstock I do not have to tell that :)

Good quality
Sole of the shoe fits well but the straps are a bit too long. Good quality and these appear to be genuine Birkenstock’s (unlike a fake pair I got on eBay!).

What Red???
I am loving my Birkenstocks! I'm a bit puzzled by all the 'red colour stains' comments because I do not have that problem at all. Maybe I have 'the one that got away'. Lol. They are as fantastic as all the other B's I've bought in the past. 5 STARS on all aspects: Price (sale price), Comfortability, Colour (red), Durability, Quality and Birkenstockability! It's a YES from me. ;-)

really good fit
The assistants at our local shoe shop when asked about whether theirs were unisex Birkenstocks they referred me to mens or ladies - my feet swam in the (what could have been medium or regular width). I bought a ladies, 36 (a size smaller than my normal shoe size), and narrow. These fit beautifully - my feet swam around in the width of ones I tried on at our local shop. These are also very comfortable. I would have no qualms about buying another pair in the future

Unlike some other big-name products, these shoes have never deteriorated in quality.
I've been buying Birkenstocks for many years because my idea of a good shoe is one that protects your foot while feeling as much as possible as if you were walking barefoot. The remarkable thing about backless Birkenstocks is that they are so well shaped that they don't constantly slide or fly off your feet. You can run, swing or dance in them, and in summer I walk for miles across rough fields in them. They last for years even if used constantly and their soles grip well even when severely worn. The one thing that I think the makers could improve upon is the glue used to join the cork to the rubber layer of the sole, because this has failed on me twice. I have to admit, though, that this has only happened after years of splashing through water and mud in them!

Great sandals - fit too big, so size down
These are great quality sandals that last for years. I am on my third pair and will keep buying them. They require a little breaking in for maximum comfort but are still fine to wear out of the box. I normally wear 10.5 or 11 in shoes and trainers, but most recently tried a 9 (43) which fit me perfectly. I would advise to buy at least one full size down.
