Soundrope iP5 Battery Kit [1440 mAh] Replacement Battery with Tool Kit

Purchased to rejuvenate an iPhone 5 for my daughter. Original battery had got to the point where it wouldn't make it through the day without a top up charge as my daughter is a reasonably heavy user. Other batteries were looked at for a much higher price but with lower review scores than this. I figured for a fiver it was worth a go.The battery comes in a box with a set of tools so you can dismantle the phone, everything you need is there and no need to purchase anything else. The metal pentalobe screwdriver and metal tweezers are decent quality and will be kept for future use. The plastic levers do the job but are nothing special, the same as the cheap Phillips screwdriver that's supplied.The battery itself is a good fit but the connector on mine required a bit of extra folding to get it similar to the original factory style. A minor point which I'll happily overlook given the price. There are some adhesive strips included to secure the battery. Whilst the included step by step instructions guide you competently through the battery replacement process, I had issues working out the best way to apply the adhesive strips. I worked it out eventually and the battery is secure.Overall, it took me about 15 minutes to replace the battery, going through the instruction leaflet step by step. The battery has been through a few charge cycles now and easily lasts two days. I'm over the moon with it as a) it works well, b) I've got some new tools to add to my kit and c) it is stunning value.

Perfect kit of battery and instruments which will be useful in future for other repairs. The battery seems to last much longer than my 3-4 years old one genuine apple battery which was at 400 cycles and 80% health.After the installation the display started showing black spots when pressed but it appears this is not a problem of the battery. The LCD has moved out of the glass a little bit during the first steps of the process. Just be very careful when removing the glass/LCD part in the beginning.

My original iPhone battery had ballooned to a size that caused my screen to crack, so I bought this one as a replacement. It looked identical apart from being blue not black. My problem started when attempting to fit it in the iPhone, the battery is approximately 3mm longer than the original which throws the connecting lead out of position, I had to bend and manipulate the lead to sit in the correct position to make the connection, I put the phone back together and put it on charge and noticed it wasn't charging, after taking the phone apart again, I found that I had bent the lead too much causing it to break, so I ordered another and armed with the knowledge fitted it first time and the new one works well. I'm now very happy with my replacement battery!

Easy to install, I used all the tools provided but I did not follow the attached instructions. It was more complicated than what you had to do. I suggest you find JerryRigEverything's post on youtube for replacing iphone 5 battery, he did it in 2 minutes real-time and I managed to finish it in 15. I had to use a lamp beside me as I did it in the early evening.Sad thing is the battery does not quite perform like new. I charge it to 100, quarterway brightness , browse the internet/bluetooth on with my fitbit charge 2 and listening to music with earphones. Checked battery in an hour and it's 75%. My previous battery would have given me around 45% at this point so it is a little bit better but not great.

Not only did this great little kit come with all the necessary tools to replace my old iphone 5 battery, but I was also able to use them to fix my daughter's iphone 6 which I found to have some loose screws inside from a previous repair. On top of all that, the kit even included an iphone 5 screen protector - all for less then the price of a couple of pints! Battery life seems to be as expected so far. Well pleased!

Should have bought this battery ages ago nearly replaced my phone but thought I would risk £9.99 to replace the battery so glad I did the battery came with everything to do the job . I watched a YouTube video and read the info that came with the battery was so easy to do my phone was a iPhone 5 so beware to get the right battery as the iPhone 5s is completely different very happy with my purchase only having to charge once a day

Bought for less than £10 and it comes with complete toolkit with more tools that you need.The instructions to change the battery weren't 100% accurate but near enough and that's what Youtube is for anyway!The battery has only been in for a couple of days but first impressions are good and it has a two year guarantee.

Rubbish. Wouldn’t have give any star if possible. Didn’t work at all and tried to send it back but being a hazardous item, I found it very difficult to send back.

Dura menos que una batería original de Apple, pero por su precio y que suele ser para un modelo de iPhone, es muy válida. La instalación es bastante sencilla.

Produit totalement conforme à la description.outils de qualité, et batterie au top.j'ai remplacé la batterie de mon téléphone en prenant mon temps en moins de 20 mn sans aucun souci.je recommande ce produit sans problème.petit plus sympa, la protection d'écran que demander d'autre. :)

Cette batterie a redonné vie à mon iPhone 5.... tout les outils sont présents Et tout ça envoyé dans un joli coffret à ce prix là je recommande vivement
