More trouble than it's worth
I was so excited when I found this unit, but that quickly faded. The unit is slow to load, many of the features don't work while driving, instruction for installation are incomplete and the accessory needed are not listed. In the end, I had to have professional installation and the steering wheel controls do not work and it doesn't work with the factory sub-woofer. Lots promised, but fails to deliver.

great features
plenty of amazing features. works great.installation could be difficult if you have harmon kardon fiber optic sound system (make sure to order optic fiber decoder with it, RCA didnt work with the decoder so had to strip the RCA that comes out from the fiber optic decoder and attach the wires to the wiring harness manually ). I was able to get a clear sound while enjoying all the features offered by the stereo.great customer service!

Great bang for the buck
So, I have had this unit for about a month or two. So far, it has been pretty good. I installed it into a E55 with the Harmon Kardon system(yes it will work if you know what you are doing). Mounting is perfect, it looks like it belongs there(which was very import to me). It tied into the Canbus system of the car, so the steering wheel controls worked with no programming, it reacts to the reverse signal, and turns on with insert of the key just like the factory radio. I did buy the optical converter for the factory amp and only had to swap the optical cable into the given plastic clip to fit. I hotspot with my phone for connectivity and its a little slow to open apps and navi searches(that's my only real complaint). So far I have downloaded youtube, amazon music, wayz, and google maps. I tend to just bluetooth my music from my phone on quick trips. Great bang for the buck unit. I would buy it again. So far so good.

You must replace all amps to be a little work this radio.
This is not a plug and play system. It's made for a particular car but does not come with the wiring harness.

Works well
Very happy with the product and features. My 06 E320 cdi has the Harmon Kardon sound system which requires a fiber optic transducer. None of the included wiring adapters were compatible with my vehicle so install takes a bit of manual connecting. Definitely do your research before diving into this.

Great features; however, some glitches diminish the overall experience
I purchased this unit elsewhere before it was available in Amazon for my Mercedes E350 2009. I'd recommend this unit to anybody planning to keep their cars for some time (and only if you're planning to keep your car for a long time. I'll explain why.) I definitely love my car and I'm planning to keep it for a so many more mails; however, the tech in the car is somewhat dated. This unit is definitely an upgrade as compare to the old head unit that comes with this old Mercedes. I love ability to have any app you can use in your phone seamlessly integrated to the car (or at least somewhat seamless.)Out of the box, the unit it's not perfect, at least to me. So I've done a couple of things that have enhanced my overall experience. I've download the Macrodroid app for my cell phone. This app detects when my phone connects to my car's Bluetooth and automatically starts the tethering. In other words, as soon as I get into my car, my cellphone automatically becomes a hotspot for my car to connect to the internet. As soon as switch off my car, my phone stops the tethering function. I love this. I have Waze and my Spotify podcasts available at my fingertips during my long commute.I also upgraded my rear view camera as the one included (mounted in the license plate) was an eyesore. I purchase the camera in the link below.https://www.amazon.com/NATIKA-Backup-Camera-Waterproof-Reverse/dp/B07H852D49/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=rear+view+camera&qid=1568987742&s=gateway&sr=8-4I had to drill a small whole in the area where the trunk opener is located. I hate having to drill wholes in my car, but in this case, the new camera looks a lot more integrated. You could argue that it looks similar to stock cameras installed in other cars. Also, the new camera has a way wider lens than the one included. You can see a lot more with the upgraded camera.Although it sounds I'm pleased with my overall experience, I'm giving this head unit three stars for the following reason.Installation can be a pain and expect to pay a specialist quite a bit for the install. I quote the install with a handful of professional installers in my area since I have the Harman Kardon upgraded stereo and I knew the install wasn't going to be straight forward as the amp needs to be bypassed, etc. All of the installers give my quotes for around $600-$800. This is the reason why I recommend this stereo only if you're planning to keep the car for some time. The stereo's price is just a fraction of what you're going to pay for having you're stereo up and running. Also, since the amp is bypassed, you'll lose your sub-woofer functionality. I wasn't willing to give up on quality soudn so I purchased a separate sub-woofer and amp and paid the installer to have the original one removed and the new one installed in the same area in the trunk. That was definitely a tricky/custom install so if you want to do this expect a coupe of hundreds in hardware and another couple of hundreds in installation. Also, the FM radio of my stereo has never worked. This is definitely an issue to me during road trips where I have no cell coverage and one or two radio stations might be available. Can't use my head unit in that scenario. I've head that the Mercedes antennas are pre-amplified because they use some of those tiny shark tail-style mounted on the roof to make it look sleek. I purchased regular antenna and plugged to my stereo but that didn't work either. FM radio just doesn't produce any sound, not even white noise. Reading in some forums, I've heard that maybe a firmware upgrade would solve my issue; however, I'm not certain where do I get the firmware specific to my hardware and how to upgrade it. .I'd definitely give this stereo four stars if it wasn't because of my radio glitch.

Installed the radio and has never worked. Shuts off the entire center console and it isn’t the fuse
Radio once installed worked for a day. Took it back to see what the issue may have been, and found there is an issue with the power button. Got it working again and the radio lasted 3 days after that shutting off the entire center control console- air condition controls, radio, seat heaters, no power to USB to charge cell phones etc. thought it was the fuse but it isn’t. Issue with the product itself and power button is no good. Needs to be returned and replaced if it is just an issue with this radio in particular as other reviews are good which is why I chose this product to purchase.
