XL Memory Foam Wedge Pillow with Large, Soft Linen Cover - 8" Wider Than Most Sold

The doctor told me to get this for acid reflex. It is nice, firm but soft and just as described. I would have given it 4-1/2* if it were an option. The negatives are that it was wrapped in too much plastic - bad for the environment - and the plastic carrying case was ripped, which is OK because I won't be traveling with it. But just FYI, I should have gotten a smaller one. I was afraid of slipping off of it, which I don't think is possible. Also I'm a 5'-9" woman and thought I'd need something bigger. However, the problem comes with the length. It starts down at my waist, which means it starts slanting upward too soon and I wake up down in the middle it. Regular would have been a better fit. The seller might have better described this as "for larger people".

I ordered 2 of these for our queen size bed and they fit perfectly across the width - no gaps or overhanging the edge. They help my wife's coughing from sinus drainage and my shoulder pain by allowing me to sleep on my back. I've never been able to sleep on my back for very long but this wedge pillow makes it easy. The extra length helps by supporting from our hips all the way to our heads. The shorter wedge pillows force your spine to bend somewhere above your hips and that becomes uncomfortable pretty quickly.

The wedge is comfortable. The only negative is that I looked at the specifications online prior to ordering and that was one of the main reasons I ordered this brand as opposed to another (cheaper) brand but the specifications weren't accurate (height was 6' instead of 7').

I personally would probably like one a little higher than this but I love how wide this is. Also it's very firm and the black case option is great
