Great quality for the money
The softshell material on these is very similar to a North Face jacket I have, so I'd say quality-wise these are a steal. I am 5'4" and an athletic 145; I normally wear a 6 but sized up to an 8 and am glad I did. The waist is slightly loose but the thighs are cut pretty slim--it would be hard to layer under a smaller size. I would say overall the waist measurement is true to size but make your call based on thighs--if you have skinny legs then go for your regular size, but if you have muscular or curvy thighs go up. Length is perfect for me, so tall girls might find them short.4 stars instead of 5 because the included belt was garbage--the buckle is such a flimsy plastic that it doesn't really latch. If you want a belt you'll need to use your own.The seller included a friendly note with clear return instructions & a contact name, which was a nice touch.

These are really nice!
I should have trusted the chart but I read the reviews stating these run tight in the legs and I let that sway me into going up a size. They're baggy looking on me at this size especially in the upper legs, but, I LOVE the style, color and quality. So if you're wearing jeans sized 10 in Old Navy, WHBM, and dress pants by Calvin k, kasper, limited sized 10, and the legs of your pants fit fine than the legs on these will too. Just choose your size based on the waist and hip measurement on the chart provided by this company unless you have very well developed upper leg muscles or carry more weight there. Yes, they are a little roomy in the waist at the back, but that's not a deal breaker for me. I like the wiggle room.

more like size 14
The sizing of these pants is completely off. In fact, there is no label indicating the size. I ordered my usual size 12 first. When pants arrived, I tried them on and they were too large, more like size 14. I did not find any sizing label sewn into the pants and nothing on the packaging. Puzzled, I decided that they just running large and ordered size 10. It arrived today with no size labeled. I tried on with the same very loose-fitting result. I compared "size 12" pants and "size 10" pants and my measuring tape showed that they are absolutely the same. Unfortunately, I will have to return both pairs, even though I like how they made and I like the color.

L was too large in waist for 5'6" 150#
I bought the size 10 and they're too large. I'm 5'6" tall, 150 lbs. and in my 50s. The fanny is fine and length is nice and long to wear with snow boots but the waist is so loose and if you wear it with the belt tight it just bunches up. And the pants sag in the rear after a few minutes wear. Love the lime green color though so I'll exchange for a medium.

Rain Pants
These have fleece from the waist to the knees, which provides warmth so I don't need another layer underneath the pants. They are long enough to cover the tops of my shoes so my socks don't get wet. I am 69" tall, so it is great to find pants long enough to cover my shoes.

Warm and waterproof but not built for curves
They did me fairly well but the thighs were tight and waist was large on me. I have big hips and a small waist. Tried going up in size which I was swimming in so I stuck with the smaller size (medium). Went skiing in them, which is my third wear, and the crotch completely ripped. Seams arenโt reinforced. So if you just want a good warm and dry trail walker they are great but they do not hold for more strenuous activity.

They didn't work out for me
I ordered these in large so they would work over leggings, but they were a bit too roomy especially in the waist. The Artix ordered at the same time were even larger, so both went back. The Artix had nice details and a heavy-duty zipper.

These pants are nice in appearance
These pants are nice in appearance, I bought them for a trip to Alaska this December so I will see how they hold up there. They are a little tight in the hip area, I should have went a size up.
