Flavor Name:Firm Firm sugar is the best one for those just learning to sugar with the flick method. It won't melt as easily so it gives newbies time to learn the technique. Firm also is the best one to use for hot areas of the body including the bikini line, full Brazilian, butt crack and underarms. Firm is also great for nostril hair and ear hair (especially on men's very coarse and thick nose and ear hair). Firm is necessary for any salon who is offering full body sugaring because if you get a client who is hot and sweaty, the Firm will not melt as easily and will work much better than a softer sugar. Firm works best on coarse hair. Sugaring Paste used for removing hair from the body and face. The hair must be grown out for the sugar to remove it. Sugar paste can be used with a strip of cloth to remove it. However, the manufacturer made My Gold Sugar primarily for the stripless method or 'flick method' which they like to call it. The paste is meant to only be slightly warmed prior to use (10 seconds in a microwave). Sugar can also be warmed in a wax or sugar warmer. If using a wax warmer, make sure it is on the very lowest level. Some wax warmers may be a bit too hot so try it and see. The sugar does not need to be heated much more than body temperature, about 100 degrees works. If you don't have a warmer, you can start with the sugar at room temperature and it will warm to body temperature as you work with it from your hand and body heat.

Almost Painless Brazilian
I never write reviews , but I had to write one about this amazing product ! I bought My Gold Sugar paste in Firm to give myself a Brazilian wax . I finally got frustrated with shaving . I would shave every single day , only to have my pubic region feel as if it was crafted completely from 40 grit sandpaper ( Ok . I'm exaggerating a tad , but not much ) LMAO ! I decided I would get professionally sugared , but there were no salons that offered it in my area. I settled for a Brazilian wax at a local salon. It was extremely painful !!! My skin doesn't like the hot wax . I was sore for 10 days after, but I LOVED the smoothness. So I stumbled on a video on YouTube by Grace J Power . She's the owner of My Gold Sugar . She shows how to use the sugar to give yourself a Brazilian wax at home . I ordered the sugar here on Amazon and did the second wax myself . It was nearly painless !!! I was so surprised at the difference this sugar makes ! It gets every single hair , too . Now everything is so much smoother than it was after the professional wax . I didn't have to go over each spot more than once . Grace has been one of the kindest people I've ever purchased anything from as well. She personally called me back when I had questions . She is very sweet and I admire that she makes videos to show us how to do such a delicate task at home . I used a wax warmer on low to heat the wax . I couldn't get the hang of using it with my hands , so I used powder before I put the wax on , then used strips . No redness , soreness or itchiness like the first wax experience . Just healthy , super smooth skin! I'm absolutely amazed ! If you're sick of the parts you shave feeling like sandpaper shortly after shaving , please try this sugar !!! Learning curve, but I wouldn’t use anything else!!
Firm is best for me....especially doing my own Brazilian...this part of the body heats and melts the wax fast because it is a very hot part of the body...start here first so sugar remains sticky. I am a woman with very coarse body hair and this is the only thing that has ever worked for me—and I have Very sensitive skin as well.You don’t need strips to use, but, there is a learning curve. The owner of the company (whom I have Never met, do not know, at not related to, do not get laid by, etc...) has some great videos on YouTube—they ARE NOT videos safe to watch at work or around children, but they are Very informative—it took me a couple tries (very frustrating tries) before I got it right—and now I won’t use anything else!!I believe her channel is called “Grace J Power”. Just be warned ALL THE BUSINESS is in these videos but it’s great for learning purposes and she’s very professional.

Very similar to pro sugaring pastes that I’ve used
I ordered this product in the hopes of finding a sugaring paste very similar to professional products I have used. I used to be certified by Alexandria to do body sugaring in a spa, but since I let my certification expire, I haven’t been able to purchase pro sugaring paste. I just wanted something for home use, to use in between sugaring appointments with my technician. It certainly does the job. I feel it is important to know that I have extensive experience doing this and is going to be much more difficult for someone with no experience. It takes a lot of practice to get the hang of it, so don’t judge the quality of this product based on ease of use for first timers.

It works!
This is product it's AMAZING! I bought it to be ready for my upcoming wedding anniversarie celebration at the Carribean. If you want that brazilian bikini look and can't afford salon prices this is for you. After watching videos on YouTube and read the reviews I decide to try it and don't regreted.Now, my first time was a little bit difficult to manage, but not that bad. I used a clean and disinfected credit card (that I do not use of course). First I put it in the fridge for 60 minutes because mail box was hot! I live in Fl and is Summer! At the time to use it it was too hard so hubby heat it in the microwave for 10 seconds without the cap. It hurt a bit whe I pull it off, but no more than waxing! I could not finish because I want my skin get use to little by little. I did the most though! Then I put coconut oil. Next day skin was soft. It worth the try.Update as of August 28: LOVE IT!!! About three weeks later I did it again. This time tooked me only 20 minutes and it didn't hurt! Amazing!

Broken product
This is the second time I am ordering the product. I liked the product the first time I bought it. There is a learning curve and I wasted alot of product trying to use it like the creator. Just use it like wax and you will love it. My skin felt so smooth and silky after I continued to wax. Also, my hair changed. It wasnt as thick or course as it was before I started to use the product. The first time I recived the product it was packaged well. This time it was broken. The lid is cracked into pieces and tapped all around. I am debating it I want to return it or just use my other lid from my last order. I hope its the same formula as last time.

Amazing sugar wax
About one year ago I stumbled across Grace’a YouTube videos on how to sugar wax your nether regions. I was so excited to try it out myself because shaving down there was SO irritating. I ordered a jar and nitrile gloves and practiced the “flick” motion removing my boyfriends toe hair and then moving on to his chest chair. Starting out with small pieces of sugar wax until I got the hang of it was the best idea before moving on to more delicate areas like the lady bits. Now I can give myself a full Brazilian wax in record time. There’s no irritation, no skin being burned or pulled off like traditional wax and no bruising. I can’t thank Grace enough and her sugar wax is amazing! One container lasts me so long as I only wax down there once a month now. Absolutely love it and glad I stuck with it.
