Worst Power Supply and Worst Company!!
Dear Corsair, having used this power supply for just 2 years now has been a complete nightmare. It has stopped working twice. Oh yes you will claim to give your stupid warranty of years together. But the trouble that you give you for that is phenomenal. If your product stops working in the warranty period, its your fault in design and manufacture not mine. You cannot harress the customer for 1 or 2 missing cables when they get you your defective piece for replacement. I have given you the bill which i have kept safely for the warranty and you ask me for some 2 cables without which you will not recognize the warranty?? what nonsense is this?? This is not a product which u can blame the user for, as the power supply just sits in 1 place once installed and you cannot blame wear and tear on the customer. Specially Specially Specially when we are paying you a premium amount for your product. Stop bullying customers at your service centres and don't advertise the promise of a warranty if you cannot live up to it. People stay away from this company parts... unless you want to be looted in the name of warranty...

The Corsair RMX series is very good for people that are serious about overclocking and there are lots of tests that prove it. I, however, am a lighter user and just care that the power supply performs reliably and the RM650x has not let me down. Another major factor for my purchase was the 10 year warranty that came with it, giving me peace of mind for my current PC build and any upgrades/rebuilds I end up doing for the next decade. Furthermore the 80+ Gold certification is a great thing to see. There are cheaper power supplies but with the features and reliability that the RM650x offers I say its worth the investment.

It is 100% worth it to get the 80+ Platinum version of this power supply. The price bump over the 80+ Gold is not only for the efficiency, but for the cables and fan aswell. I've heard complaints about the lawnmower installed where the fan should be on the 80+ Gold versions of the SF450/600, and from what I've observed, the 80+ Platinum versions do not have the same noise problem. The fan does not make any noise at all. The cables are also far superior to the 80+ Gold version. The 80+ Gold has the standard power supply glued-together cables, whereas the 80+ Platinum has sleeved cables which makes it very easy to cable manage in even the smallest cases (Ghost S1 pictured, SATA SSD installed too!) because the cables are easier to bend and are skinnier. Don't cheap out. Get the 80+ Platinum.

You’ll most likely be getting the newer 2024 model, not the older 2018 version, so it’s worth checking other RM850x listings, you’ll find it priced more competitively there. This particular listing should be updated to avoid confusion, since the older model is no longer being produced or sold. That said, the RM850x is an excellent PSU: reliable, efficient, & quiet. It’s just not worth paying an inflated price here when you can purchase the same unit for less elsewhere.

No tengo queja, gracias a qué es modular fue más fácil armar mi setup, el ventilador es silencio pues no se inicia en bajo consumo eléctrico.
