flying tent: Unique All-in-ONE Hammock Tent, Bivy Tent, Hammock and Rain Poncho + Fine Mesh Mosquito Net - Ocean Blue

I wasn't looking for this product but somehow, I found it. I was looking for a hammock and a single tent to take on a week-long hike up the Appalachian Trail. The only reason I bought this product was because it was going to be cheaper than buying a tent and the single tent I was looking at. I'm glad I did, the tent and hammock kept me dry the 2 days it rained on me. I used the Bivi tent on dry days, and when it rained I used the hammock to stay off the ground with the cover. I'm pleasantly surprised at how well its constructed and how it handled the conditions. I would recommend this for 3 season camping. I'm not sure if I could recommend it for very cold weather camping or hiking, although if you had a really good sleeping bag you could probably use it.

Exactly what I’ve been looking for. I took this camping and the mosquito net worked perfectly. With the net closed I could still see outside and I got a nice breeze, but it kept me totally protected from the bugs. The straps and hardware are all heavy duty.

Design and production flaws and VERY POOR or NO Customer Service available:The bug net construction is poorly engineered, and on my first day of hiking, the seams came undone. See attached photo. Also, the carbon fiber stick started to crack, and its pocket was poorly designed and sawn. I sent it back right away after my first use, per their customer return policy is none, and I have not heard back despite my numerous attempt to contact them since July 2018. I don't recommend this product until they correct these design flaws. If the bug net does not rip on your first day, it will rip on your second, if not near future, and watch out for that carbon sticks and pockets, they don't match, and they don't support very well.Also, it is bulky for hikers. I was hiking AT for a week with this tent, and I find it cumbersome.
