Learning curve, but good product
I was running low on my Lola super+ tampons (that only come in plastic applicators - my other sizes I have cardboard applicators) and was looking for an alternative to reduce my plastic usage. I've never used non-applicator tampons, so I wasn't very good at them during my first period with them. I couldn't get them in far enough to be comfortable. I really wanted to keep my commitment to reducing waste, so I didn't completely give up on them. My second period, I think I figured it out: you need to be really quick between removing the front part of the wrapper and inserting. I think they start to expand a little once unwrapped, so if you don't do it fast enough, it's just harder maybe? Anyway, I feel like a pro now and the product meets my expectations.

Great Organic Tampon
Quality is great. I much prefer Cora to the ones I'd have to emergency run to the health food store to get, only to find they never had the absorbency I needed. I also love the packaging, which may sound trivial, but for a product that I use so frequently, I appreciate that there's a touch of class that actually helps me to enjoy my moon cycle. Knowing that I'm using a safe and effective product is also an investment in my own self care. When my daughter gets her cycle very soon, I will also buy Cora pads for her and explain why it is important to be diligent when it comes to feminine products. Thanks Cora! For making organic products accessible and affordable!

A worthy heir to OB
I've used o.b. tampons ever since I needed tampons, but I have a hard time finding them in stores lately. These tampons are just as small, just as absorbent, and just as comfortable as any others I've tried.

Organic Cotton Tampon
Excellent tampon made from organic cotton. It is a step up from the OB brand I’ve used nearly all my life. More expensive but good quality. No leaks.

The only tampon brand I trust
Ladies listen, if you’re suffering from painful heavy periods, you need to switch to an organic tampon. Cora is the real deal. No harmful anything and within a month of switching from regular rayon based to 100% cotton, my painful periods went away. I cannot recommend Cora enough. Doesn’t leak and works even better than regular tampons.

good tampons
These are good. They leak a little. My OB brand tampons don’t leak, but then they’re not organic. However I have heard even organic cotton can contain heavy metals. Watch out! Anyways, these are my tampons of choice now.

It works
It works. The extra large or plus size lasts the entire day.

Some pros and cons
I'm through my second box of Cora, and honestly, I'm not completely sold yet. They are a pretty straight across replacement for OB style, no applicator tampons, which is great. Low waste, low profile in a pocket and really absorbent. I have observed much less discomfort to my periods since switching to organic- much less cramping, and fewer other symptoms- total win! The Cora tampons themselves are performing pretty well, but I have had a few problems with strings broken right out of the package, or the tampon partially coming apart when I use the string to flare the end. Not dealbreakers, just something to watch for. I'm going to order another few boxes and give them a few more months.
