These are pretty nice for the price. First trekking poles I've ever owned and love them. The elongated grips are nice so you don't have to keep adjusting the length of the poles. The straps are easy to adjust and the padding is comfortable. These poles are lighter than any I've seen at this price. They also have some features found on more expensive poles, and look & feel to have as good or better construction than most poles I've ever seen at this price point. I'm happy with the purchase and they were shipped fast.That said, I have yet to put these through a real torture test, so I don't know if they can hold up to rigorous use, and like I said these are the first poles I've ever owned so I wouldn't say I have any expertise in trekking poles. Compared to the poles I've examined (but haven't actually used) at wall mart, dick's, etc. costing the same to 3 times as much, they compare favorably. These have twist to lock adjustment, instead of the snap locks which some hikers prefer for quick length adjustments. Made in China, of course.

I got a pair for my mother for when I take her on short hikes. Poles can really help. When they got here I looked at them and decided I need to replace my poles. For the price these have features I find on much more expensive hiking poles.Update:I was coming down a steep slop and one of the poles bent then broke. They are still decent poles for what most people need. But, if you are have to do some root grabbing on the way up. These are not the poles you want on the way down.

Great poles. Lightweight, good price, pack up nicely. They're definitely not top-of-the-line, but they're great. I've been putting them through the wringer for the past 6 months or so, and haven't had any issues.

Came on time; was what i expected. Purchased at Doctor's suggestion. Good on level, uphill or downhill walks. Adjustable so that hubby and I can use them.

By far nicer than I thought they would be.

Love these! Absolutely helped my bad knees hiking this summer. Lightweight and tucked in backpack well when I wasn't using them (they did stick out the top of the pack). Can't wait to use them again!
