Wood Turning tool set Carbide Tipped Lathe Finisher/Rougher/Detailer/Hollower Tool Set（4pcs Bar+1pcs Handle） With Round/Square/Diamond Carbide Insert and Screw and Wrench

I have only used 3 of the 4 cutters so far. Have not used the detail cutter. The ruffing cutter cuts good but will catch on the corners if not very careful. The hollowing tool cut good but I had a hard time getting use to the feel so I used the finishing cutter to hollow out my part and it worked very well. Not crazy about the feel of the handle guess I am to old school like the feel of the wooden handles. Will probably make some wooden handles so I will not have to change out the one handle for the other 3 cutters.

These tools are well made and the handle is very comfortable to use. I was a little doubtful about the round shafts at first (most carbide turning tools have square or rectangular shafts to keep the cutter flat with the work) but after using these I have found them to get better results because they can be tipped left or right to get a slicing action rather than a scraping action. I just finished a 12" bowl and the last cut was almost ready for the finishing with very minimal sanding. The point tool is great for taking out roughness on end grain using the side of the cutter. I would recommend these to any woodturner.

Wish it came with all the handles but it's a fairly good deal. I'm making handles for the 3 tools now.

Bought a set of these back in March they work very well but got tired of switching to one handle so I made new handles for the set now I'm very satisfied

Overall this is not a bad product except for the customer service and the poor item description.Carbide tip tools such as these have very many different tip sizes and shapes. Yufutol does not make it easy figuring out exactly what size the tips are. Other carbide tip chisels under the same brand, Yufutol, have descriptions next to them such as Pro or full size but this one does not, making it hard to find the correct replacement tips for it.Also, the frequently bought suggestions at the bottom of the item page show a variety of five or so different tips implying that they are the correct ones to get for this tool but upon ordering them there were one or two tips that did not fit.Additionally, getting a ahold of this company is extremely difficult. I have yet to find an actual website or email contact to ask about this problem.I have also left questions on their item listing that they have not gotten back with.Not to mention, when they do send replacement tips there is no indication of the size on the actual product container which makes it difficult to verify how big they actually are for future reference.It has been a huge headache and reduced to trial and error ordering for these tips.I have ordered and returned two or three different sets of tips just trying to find the correct ones.Full warning to anyone who is considering buying these.And for the record, other than the tips these seem to be pretty decent tools.

Just the right size for pens and snail turning

Very sharp and easy to handle.They do seem to "roll" a bit when cutting, but does not hinder the cutting once you figure out how to stop it from happening.
