Emsco Group 2953 Bigfoot 25" Poly Pusher Wooden Handle 1280 Snow Shovel, Orange

Used to clean solids left after pumping out an in ground concrete/plastered/tiled pool that I didn’t want to damage with a metal scoop or blade. Plastic blade edge was straight and flat. Scoop was strong enough to hold wet leaves and muck that had settled. Scoop easily fit within the opening of a 20-21in diameter plastic trash can. Only concerns are if the metal parts…. screws or handle (metal enclosed in plastic cover) corrode over time.

This is exactly what I was looking for. No metal edges to get dented, rusted, or caught on the concrete and it's very durable. It's not a shovel for lifting snow but it sure makes pushing snow easier!

I provide this review based on my one-time experience. I am living in Oklahoma so we probably get snow a couple of times a year.Based on my one time experience, it worked fine for me. The shovel itself is not metal. I do not expect it will last long. Since it is not metal, the lightweight is a plus. The handle is not very long. I am 5'6. The length is perfect for me. If you are a tall person, probably you have to bend a lot to work with it.

I bought this shovel just for clearing my back patio and some yard for my dogs. I have expensive ones in my garage but hate to carry them thru the house. I keep this one on my patio for light duty snow removal. If you need one for lots of snow removal,this is not it. Buy one with a metal edge on the shovel and a tougher handle. Like I said,I bought this one for light use so toughness was not needed.

I was pretty much satisfied with my purchase except one little thing. I ordered one color and you sent me the color of your choice. Let me keep my choices unless otherwise stated.

I picked this up in the late fall while searching for a plastic bladed shovel that wouldn't rip up the wooden deck when shoveling snow. It's proven to be perfect for that job. It's very light, but not flimsy, and it clears snow without scarring the wood surface. Without the metal band on the working end, I wouldn't expect it to stand up to shoveling brick, concrete or pavement without wearing down but it's perfect for non damaging work on wood or trex.

Maybe I misread the listing, but I was under the impression that this was aluminum. Only the handle is metal, the rest is plastic. I ended up returning them

Cheap, all crooked. Returned for refund.
