Really lucked out in many ways with this little speaker--first off, the price: hard to beat for sure... And the technology was what I was looking for as well: this item is built very well, solid, has some good weight to it... The sound is perfect for what I plan to use this for: namely, outdoors on picnics, on the porch, etc.... Was able to connect it through Bluetooth within minutes of opening the box; also was able to use my little FiiO headphone amp/equalizer when not connected wirelessly... Just really satisfied with receiving a great product after comparing many options...But there was one slight hiccup: I did have problems initially... The speaker would not take a charge, and when I paired it to devices it the audio would cut-out whenever the volume reached a certain level... Instead of immediately sending it back to Amazon, I instead emailed the company (the address is listed within the instructions) telling the what was happening and if I was missing something and/or doing something wrong... Within about two hours I received a reply: it was an apology along with a request for me to send them the Amazon order number, which I provided in a subsequent email... And very quickly I got an email telling me the company had made arrangements to have a replacement sent to me and that I should have it delivered in a week... Well, not only did I get a perfectly working replacement hassle-free, but I also got it two days earlier than was estimated AND was given a final, follow-up email with the shipping info where I could track the shipment, separate of anything from Amazon... Couldn't have asked for a more thoughtful customer service experience.

I've had this speaker for about a day and a half, and love it. I charged it for about 2 hours right out of the box. Probably didn't need to charge that long, but I got busy. Anyway, I haven't charged it since. It has played half a day, and all night long, while I was asleep, albeit, at a soft volume. I've used it all day today, and it's still going. Using it as a speaker phone, the mic is so clear, that people didn't know, until I told them. Listening to voice audio sounds great. Music, via Bluetooth and the SD card, is good as well. Although, I do have better sounding Bluetooth speakers, this isn't bad. It's not harsh, making long term listening pleasant. I like my speakers to sound good, but I'm not overly picky. I'd say this is at the lower end, but not at the bottom, of what I'd consider acceptable sound quality. For its size, it's actually pretty good.Pros: Sounds good, long lasting battery, its small, packed with almost every feature that I like, and cheap (so I don't worry about it).Cons: Lacking a bit in bass, but it's present. Where the carabiner attaches to the body, does not instill confidence. Has no "call back" or assistant features.Bottom line: I'm glad that I brought it, and I'd buy it again.[Update] It took this speaker 2-1/2 days to finally run out of juice! That wasn't constant use, but frequent use, and two nights (apx. 8 hours each) and a full 5 hours at work. One added con though, when it's charging, you can't tell. There's no flashing light, or anything. I hope that it's charging, but I can't tell. If it's not, I'll report back, and revise my review.[Update 2] There is a small, almost unnoticeable, red light, right next to where you plug in the charging cord. Solid red light, charging. Red light off, finished charging. Works fine.[Update 3] Sounds definitely improves after break-in period. Improved bass, and overall clarity. Also, I replaced the carabiner with a soft lanyard. Much nicer in my opinion.

I ordered these as they were just $13 which is amazing for a 16W speaker , so i thought i will check them out. Unboxing was great . Comes with a microusb cord and an aux.Has a handy carabiner attached. After listening to music of various genres and watching some movies on my laptop with these , i was pleasantly surprised.So here are my pros n consPROS:1) They totally justify the 16W rating and are damn LOUD. Loud enough to surprise anyone with respect to the price point.2) Sound Quality is clear with no breaks or cracks in quality at max volume too.3) Its sleek and easy to carry. The Carabiner is great and helps hang it to my bag when travelling.4) Waterproof. IPX7 rated at 13$. Couldnt ask for more. And yeah the slot for charging/ aux /micro sd closes tightly to ensure vacuum and water doesnt go in.CONS:1) Frequency response is 80Hz to 20000Hz so it does miss out on the lower range (20hz to 80hz) thus dont expect the bass to be great or anywhere close to the thump you feel in above 50$ bluetooth speakers.2) Battery life at max volume gets drastically low @4hrs, whereas last about a day at mid volume levels.Overall at this price point , HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Seriously defeats most under 25$ speakers.

Bought this for a river trip, haven't done the trip yet. I fully charged it overnight prior to use. I so far have listened to it for at least 10 hours at a mild volume, loud enough to hear at about 30 feet. I did turn it up a bit for just a few minutes to check volume. It gets loud for a small speaker. I'm not sure how much battery life it has left, but its still going strong after 10 hours. At its highest volume as with most speakers, sound quality drops. However; it does play loud enough and stays clear for most usage.Note, I did not test the bluetooth feature of this speaker. I used the SD Card slot to get the longest battery life possible. I also have not tested the water resistance yet. Thats for when the weather is right.This isn't a $100 speaker, but if your looking for a budget speaker, it is definitely a great buy.Not sure how build quality is and how long it will last, however; it does weigh quite a bit for its small package and feels solid. The only cheap thing on it appears to be the carabener attached to it.
