An amazing earphone! Much better than Klipsch S4's
I searched and searched the web for earphones under $100 that were well rated. I came up with these ones and Klipsch S4s. I bought them both abd thought I might send one back. Both are good but these better for sure. The first disclaimer I have is that they must be burned in. The first moment I plugged them in they were astonishingly shrill and had no bass. Like a $5 earbud you'd buy at walmart. After 40 to 50 hours of running them in my kitchen drawer with a variety of music just below the distortion threshold they sounded pretty good. Now after another 20 hours of play they sound amazing. I'm no audiophile (neither is anyone who is looking for buds in this price range) but I am fussy about good sound. The sound is full across the frequency spectrum. Unlike the Klipsh's there's no frequency gaps. So you can play them low and hear the whole sound mix exactly as it was intended or you can crank them up for example with rock and really get quite a wham, punch- wall of sound. They have a warm sound, very acoustic, almost loudspeaker like. The sound brought me back to the days of playing vinyl on good stereo systems, lots of air and clarity in it. which is unusual for earbuds in this price range. I listen to lots of different kinds of music except maybe 'nu country' and rap ('real country I like). Jazz, gutbucket Rock and Roll, Classical, Symphonic art rock, Psych rock, Fusion, Folk, film scores. Everything sounds just great with these. I chose the sport because they are kind of large and the angled driver seemed like it would be better. If I use the ear clips, they are not possibly going to come loose, but unless you're exercising there's no need to. I often see people comment on how buds look, this has no value to me because sound, quality of build, and comfort are my only criteria but the wood and stain and metal accents do look very nice. These are really well made, you can see the attention to detail. The tie clip they give you is brilliant. It takes the strain off from the cords and really helps because the buds are not ultra light weight. The clip helps then stay in just fine. Very good idea from the manufacturer. The are comfortable enough for me. I wouldn't wear any earphones for more tham two hours in one sitting. I see other bud revies where people must have comfort fo 6 or eight hour stretches. If that's a super high criteria you may want to consider Klipsch earphones. The Klipsch's are just back up for me at this point.

Great Earphones!
First of all let me just say the reason I took off 1 star overall is because there is a microphone on this set of earphones but it really sucks. I tried calling twice and the other party can hear what im saying only if i have the microphone like touching my lips. But i didn't buy these for a microphone so I could care less.Anyways I've been using these earphones for about a week now. I was definitely a little bit hesitant to buy these earphones at first because of limited amount of reviews. However I am glad that I bought this pair of earphones. So far i've used/owned various earphones and headphones. I'll list them belowSennheiser cx300 - owned for a yearPremium Apple in-ear headphones with remote and mic - own itSennheiser HD202 - own it - probably one of the best over the ear headphones for the price of under $30Dr. Dre Beats - used it - they Rock!Razer Barracuda HP1 - these are just pure amazing! - Although you would need a good sound card to utilize the full potential of these.Compared to the Premium Apple in-ear headphones with remote and mic (which cost like 60$) these Woodees have much better Sound Quality! I've also used Sennheiser cx300 they were definitely good but I like these better!Mostly I use these earphones while running for about half hour. So i needed earphones which would stay in my ear for that time. All the other ones i've used before kept falling off way too much. These have stayed in my ears much better.Pros:Sound QualityPriceComfortableGood fitCons:None that I can find so far

Fantastic!
Day one with these and I've been using them for the past 7 hours, almost continuously. That alone should say what it needs to about the comfort level of these things. These are extremely lightweight, and essentially disappear from your ears as you go about your daily activities or at the gym, and they STAY! That's another great thing about these headphones. They're angled to remain in your ear, so they haven't budged at all.As for sound quality....I'm no expert when it comes to sounds, but there is a definite difference between these and comparably-priced Sony and Panasonic headphones. The bass is deep and smooth, yet doesn't drown out the higher notes, which come in clearly and beautifully. Throughout the day, they've been tested with everything from classical to country to rock to dubstep to a capella, and these took them all in stride. As I mentioned, this is only my first day with them, but if anything changes my opinion of them, I'll be sure to edit this. So far...excellent!*EDIT: Beware the included clip thingies! I sort of tore the rubber wire casing by attempting to test the ear hooks out. Mostly my fault, yes. There were no instructions about the hooks included, so me being he-man, decided I didn't need them and neglected to look them up somewhere or look for warnings. So I warn you now! What I did (and I've no idea whether it was the right way to do it...probably wasn't) was slip the wire into the groove in the hook and slide the hook up to join around the plastic shaft of the earpiece. I hated it, so I attempted to undo it by doing the opposite. Turns out, the plastic ring of the hook where the wire goes isn't completely smoothed out, and there may be some rough edges. And those rough edges may tear your wire to shreds. Yeah. So my fault, but it really didn't take much to rip the wire. I didn't think so, anyway. They still work fine...for now. But I've already ordered a new pair, so all shall be well with the world soon!
