Nice coverage for a while
I bought this product because it was advertised well online. It covers the seats well but after some time it started to come off in places

Totally impressed.
Done the chair in a coue of hours, wooden parts I used paint. But the leather parts, it's easy to use, I used a heat gun not a hair dryer. Brilliant

This product should be prohibited to sale due to it’s properties
Used as the manufacturer advised and sprayed throughout by using their applicators… it actually DAMAGED my sofa covers leaving it patchy (?) or stainey (?) - I don’t even know how to describe it but please have a look at the pics attached to my review. After using these products I tried to rescue my sofa cover and wash it in the washing machine (it’s cotton 100%) but it didn’t work - it just removed partially colour but not even out the colours. I also tried to use it on black leather Cambridge Satchel Company bag and my black leather Hobbs gloves which both I wanted to refresh and cover there tiny scratches - the product left the surface sticky and partially peeling off while the tiny scratches are still visible!!! Also, the product smells horrible and the smell is noticeable on all the surfaces I tried to use it for. PLEAEE AVOID unless you want to ruin what you intend to refresh… better throw away the monies than actually use these products. better works £3 Dylon black dye on the fabric and KIWI paste on leather…

My chair is like new.
I've been wanting to dye my sofa black for a while so finally got some. I've used this brand in the past, so I know how good it is (if applied correctly. 1st attempt didn't last 6months as I couldn't wait, so skipped some prepping). As long as you follow all the prep instructions, this dye is very durable. I did 3 coats of the black on one of the chairs so far, and you can see how flawless it looks compared to the battered brown. Its super easy to use. I've seen comments asking about smell, and I think it does have fairly strong smell. Its more like a strong children's bubble mixture. Not unpleasant at all. They include all the instructions you need in the package on a separate piece of paper. I'd reccoment this dye to anyone.

Amazing stuff! Absolute transformation from faded and worn brown to deep, shiny black.
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely amazed at the transformation of my 13 year old brown leather sofa. Easy to use, just apply with a sponge after giving the sofa a good clean. Dont be disheartened as I was when first 2 coats were patchy and mottled. Dont over apply or over spread the dye. Apply sparingly and build up with a thin coat at a time. I bought 2 bottles initially for my large 3 and 2 seater, bottles ARE smaller than I anticipated...didn't read size in description. Ordered a 3rd bottle to put on a final 4th coat and was left with enough to do 2 pouffes with 3 coats each.Hopefully, as I followed manufacturers instructions to the letter, this will stand the test of time. I will update in 6 months. For £66 I now have 2 new looking sofas and pouffes which would have cost me thousands of pounds to replace.Buy it. Take your time. You won't regret it.

Amazing when you follow the instructions
I started off with a faded cream sofa that I didn't like and ended up a black one that looks brand new.Make sure to follow the instructions and get the prep liquid. It's taken 4 bottles of dye to get to where I am now. It needs one more coat in places but I am thrilled with the results. This sofa comes apart to four separate pieces which made it easier to get into the creases .If I was starting again I would do all the creases first as they're the hardest.
