Beautiful Oriental Rug Style Mousepad, Red and Black Miniature Carpet Computer Mouse Pad, Rectangular, Non-Slip, Elegant Office Accessories

OMG! How can such a simple object give so much pleasure? The colors (red and black) and the design are terrific. The fringe is fun. My mouse moves fine on the textured surface. Some reviewers of other products have complained that the mouse will not glide because the surface is so textured. Although this surface is textured - slightly velvety - it does not impede the mouse's movement. (The same company - inusitus - makes little drinks coasters that include this pattern and 3 others, all of which are attractive.) Now, it is slightly expensive but the enjoyment I've already gotten makes it worth the price. I bought this one after seeing a colleague's pad, which had a nice design but is not, in my opinion, as nice as this one. I did a lot of searching. Some of the patterns on amazon seem muddy. This is not. The colors are vibrant and the design is clear. What more can I say? I love it.

Took me an expensive HDMI cable, multiple adapters, different dongles, several trips back and forth to the store and lots of time troubleshooting to realize this mouse pad was causing my mouse to lag on my external monitor. Switched to a normal all black mouse pad and things are working fine. As much as I love this mouse pad, I have to put it away for now.

I bought a similar pad in Armenia, but lost it before I got home. I bought a different one from Amazon and it's colors faded badly. This one seems much better - quite a difference.

This is a wonderful mouse pad. Terrific-looking Persian rug, mouse glides like silk, comfortable for your hand. I get a lift from having such a beautiful mouse pad to look at. Not inconsequential, since I spend long stretches of time at the computer.
