Alaskan Synthetic Snowshoes, 10x56

I really like these snowshoes, they take a little time to get use to as they are LONG which is not a bad thing but you do step on the tails occasionally. After several walks you get use to how to walk with them. You really do not sink into deep snow very much and walking with them provides a good work out. Poles are a must as they help with balance and add some support to help in walk more effectively. It is Feb. 2019 and I've had these for three years now and they are really great for DEEP snow here in Maine. Just bought a second pair for the girlfriend, she has a pair of Yukon Charlie's that are ok but if we get into the deep stuff she sinks quite a way even in my tracks.

These work so much better than my friend's top-of-the-line modern snowshoes. I opted for the bindings with cleats, which I highly recommend. You really stay on top of the powder with these, and with the cleat/bindings, they work on steep inclines and hard packed snow too. They are much quieter that aluminum and they are lightweight.

Exactly what I wanted in a snowshoe. Big enough to keep me on top of the snow but light enough to walk for miles. I love them and they appear to be of very good quality. I expect them to last me for many, many years.

With having prior snowshoes it brings back memories, that are excellent.Thank you. Would recommend to others.

These will keep you floating much higher on the snow while your friends with those crappy aluminum shoes sink to the bottom. I shoe in the deep powder of the Alberta mountains and these out perform all others. Make sure you match these with the GV bindings. the combo works perfect.M
