Brilliant! Definitely helped my cough. Also they actually taste nice! I can’t take a lot of cough type sweets as they give me indigestion but these are perfect. Size just right as well and not too big. Have bought for other family members now.

These are honey-based lozenges with a strong manuka-style flavour profile. I have tried them in normal day-to-day use, primarily as a sweet/honey lozenge rather than expecting anything beyond that. The taste is rich and distinctive, with a deep honey note rather than a generic sugary sweet. The lozenges dissolve at a steady pace, so they last long enough to feel worthwhile, and they do not have the artificial menthol punch you get with some traditional lozenges. If you like strong honey flavours, they deliver that consistently. The trade-offs are that the flavour is quite intense and may be too much if you prefer something mild. The sweetness also lingers, which is not always what you want, and the texture can feel sticky as it softens. It suits people who specifically want a honey-forward lozenge and are happy with a strong taste, but it will not be everyone’s cup of tea. 4 stars: good quality and consistent, but the intensity and sweetness narrow the audience.

These lozenges are excellent quality and taste lovely. These lozenges are in a small round tin, which contains individually wrapped lozenges. I have found that sometimes lozenges can become soft or sticky if they have been stored for a while, but the tin appears to keep them fresh. They are still perfect after being stored for a couple of weeks. The lozenges are hard, like boiled sweets, they are solid too, although they are made with Manuka honey they are not runny at all. These lozenges are good if you have a sore throat, or just need a boost of energy. The main ingredient is sugar. They also contain 15% honey. These are expensive but taste nice and definitely help with sore throats.

There are twenty honey Manuka hard boiled sweets and they come individually wrapped inside a beautiful presented metal round tin, the circular sweets taste amazing, very similar to actual Manuka Honey, impressive considering it is only using 15% of the real Manuka. The sweet is completely hardboiled with no soft centre. These are without doubt well presented, they not cheap but have a pleasant taste and gives a soothing feel to the throat. Recommended.

This tin of Manuka Honey lozenges from Pure Gold are a lovely tasting boiled sweet which is really enjoyable. The actual honey content is listed as being just 15% with sugar making up the remaining 85%. There are a lot of documented benefits of Manuka Honey, so it's fair to assume that these lozenges would offer the same types of benefit, albeit it's obviously very difficult to prove. That said however, if the makers claims are indeed true, these sweets / lozenges with help with sore throats, aid digestion, enhance skin health and act as a general anti-inflammatory, so lots of positives to be had. For me however, I'd be happy to buy these just to have as an occasional sweet whilst driving or doing the housework as they taste delicious. The only thing I don't like about the product is how difficult it is to unwrap the lozenges - the individual wraps are not easy to tear to the point where I've needed a pair of scissors to get them open.
