Use all the time
It's brilliant, collapses for travel, I use it on every camping trip. Was able to put it right in my gear as it takes up minimal space when collapsed.I do wish it whistled, but I'll take the lightweight portability over that convenience Everytime.

Great product
We used it for heating water, worked great, held about 2 medium cups. I really liked the locking lid.

Great for the sailboat
I bought this to replace the space hogging metal teakettle we kept on the boat. The opening is larger enough to drop a few eggs in to boil as well.

Pros and cons
Purchased this collapsible kettle for camping to conserve on space.Pros: Collapsible, clever concept, boils water, nice poor spoutCons: When boiling water kettle becomes slightly flimsy and could be a burn risk. Lid/handle system is slightly confusing. Single purpose camping appliance.Final decision: Rated a 4 because it's a great concept but didn't work for my camping goals. I will be trading this out for a regular pot with pour spout so I can boil water, make soups, use as a bowl, etc.

Nice size
It was great when packing. Got to watch the limestone floating when we boil water but that's cause we have hard water. Great product

Great Travel Kettle!
While preparing for an RV trip my husband jokingly said I needed a collapsible kettle - and here it is! We used it almost every evening for steeping a pot of tea. I can't speak for using it over a flame (all I did was pour in boiled water and steep tea), but it held the heat well (kept it warm with a tea cosy) and poured just fine. I liked the locking lid for steeping and pouring, but do wish you could remove the lid somehow for easier cleaning and drying. Other than that, it was a perfect last-minute addition to our RV kitchen!

Just didn’t work well.
Cool concept but didn’t live up to the hype. I was looking to upgrade from my classic metal teapot so when I saw this, I thought, perfect! The tea pot handle would get hot so we had to either have hot pad holder or I wrap the handle and thermal tape in order to use it. My wife used this new one on a camping trip and gave it a thumbs down. 1) useful amount isn’t really the 42 oz. I’d say the most you’d want to boil in order not splatter is around 36 oz. Not enough for our needs. 2) putting it over a Coleman burner on high, the handle still got warm and she worried about the silicone body melting, and 3) when full and you go to pour, the side below the spout would begin to collapse making ti a bit hard to pour. Like I said, it’s a great idea, but not quite perfected yet.
