Avigal Henna Hair Color Cognac Honey Red 4.5 Oz

This Cognac henna dyed a few strands of my hair a brownish color. But for most of my hair, my hair color did not change after using this. It did not cover gray hair at all. This is supposed to be honey red henna, but I did not see any red tones. The henna has a grainy consistency, almost like sand. It made my hair dry. For many years I have used Avigal Rich Red henna. Rich Red covers gray hair, and it makes my hair shiny. The Rich Red henna is a powder, and it is not grainy like this Cognac color is.

Kind of dull light brown, not at all red. But I only left on for one hour, and I have light blonde and gray hair. I have used avigal henna for years, strawberry blonde, and it would take after 10 minutes, brightly. So I was surprised and disappointed about this. I love henna tho and will keep trying.

I am an african american and I dont use any chemicals in my hair. I have 4B textured hair . I really like this henna color but it doesn't seem to take in my hair. I have followed the directions to a "T" (with no luck) and have left it in for HOURS (almost an entire day) and even sat under the dryer for an hour with it in my hair, but as soon as I wash my hair, out goes the color. :-( Any suggestions are gladly welcomed!

I have been using Avigal henna for over 35 years - really. I'm now 72 year old, and my hair is still thick and shiny. I use a double process now to cover the gray. The gray looks as if my hair is beautifully highlighted.I don't usually leave feedbacks, but had to talk about this great henna. Also, over the years I have tried other henna brands, but none of them compared to Avigal.

I loved this henna! It was a great color and my hairdresser said this is a superior product, even better than what she uses for her own hair. I think I have coverted her to the Avigal Henna product line

I have used this product for many years as I was becoming gray. It is very close to my natural color and is really good for my hair.
