The media could not be loaded. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max with the slimmest case I could find. Whenever I need to use a tension mount my phone is really tough to wedge in to them and sometimes it gets pinched out and falls.So I got this mount. I already have a magnetic ring that goes with a mount in my car and that works great for me. This adapter works well with that magnetic ring.I also have an iPhone 11 Pro (not Max) that I use with the DJI Osmo 4 and I put the magnetic ring right on the phone rather than on a case. For that reason I can't use any tension mounts even if I want to, because the ring is in the way. So I look for magnetic adapters like these.The mount comes with the magnets you need which you can install into a slim case if you prefer, rather than directly on to the phone.The swivel on this is really good. It is tight enough to hold its position but smooth enough to rotate as needed.Great item for the price, #HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I've used a couple of phone holders for my tripod and inevitably end up changing the camera parameters, turning the phone off, or dropping the phone on the floor. The spring loaded holders always seem to stick, and you need three hands to use them.So the magnets on this holder are strong enough to hold my Samsung Galaxy S8+ when it doesn't have a cover on, but I feel much more secure using the supplied magnet sheet that you either adhere to your phone back or holder. I have several holders, so I just stuck it on one of them and whenever I need to use my tripod, I slip on that cover with the magnet. (There are two magnet sheets supplied with a strong adhesive on one side). When the magnet sheet is stuck to your phone, whack!!... It really sticks to the magnets on the phone holder. I find if you twist the phone when removing it, it comes of more easily as the magnetic bond is very strong. You pretty much can't pull it straight off.So if you want to attach and detach your phone to your tripod in seconds with no hassle, this is the perfect mount! I wish I had found it sooner!

I like to carry a heavy-duty aluminum monopod when I travel and use it as a hiking stick as well as a mount for my camera. Now that cell phone cameras have become so awesome, I'm reticent to lug my DSLR around. There are mounts that will hold my cell phone on the end of the monopod. The problem with that is, I really don't want my cell phone out on the end of my walking stick all day. It's too easy for it to drop on the ground and it's very difficult to switch from portrait to landscape mode when taking photos. This little device solves all my problems. I can keep the phone in my pocket where it belongs until I need it for a photo. Then, I pop it on the magnetic mounts, in any direction I want, and I'm good to go. Now I have an awesome monopod/hiking stick, and a selfie-stick all in one. Very nice!

Okay, new update and I'm changing back from 1 star to 4 stars for excellent customer service.I did not contact Orsant, but they saw this review and contacted me and provided a free replacement, very promptly delivered.There are others who have had the same failure. It could be a material defect, a manufacturing defect, or possibly just a bad design. So no 5 stars based on that.This is a VERY handy support and the magnetic attachment is quite strong. As long as it doesn't break I haven't found anything quite the same. So the company stands behind their product and kudos for excellent customer service.===========Downgrading my review from 5 to 1 star. Just went to attach my iPad to it and the magnet grabbed the iPad and broke off the bracket! Poor quality control...Never dropped or overextended or overloaded or abused in any way. Just snapped right off! Probably can be glued with epoxy but, geez, I've only had it three weeks! Boo!===========Original Review: I had been looking for dedicated iPad stands, when I realized I have several tripods already, as well as a metal plate on the iPad that I use to magnetically attach it to a car holder and also a mounted desktop holder. So this seemed like the ideal solution… And it works great! Much cheaper than a dedicated stand plus I get to use what I already own. The magnets are strong enough that when the iPad is attached I can pick it up and the tripod with it. Attaches and detaches in less than a second. So far very happy, and this is been a good purchase. Recommended.

I needed a mount that would allow me to attach my cellphone or iPad to a tripod. After a lengthy search, I stumbled upon this mount. It is well made with the proper thread sizing for tripod mounting. I have it mounted to a goose neck which mounts to my tripod and I can position my phone or pad into any position. The magnets are very strong and will allow my iPad to attach through a rather thick 2-part sleeve without fear of the pad or phone dislodging from the mount. The mount is relatively small for what it does and the overall functionality it provides. It works great! A small circular disk needed to mount the cell phone was missing and after contacting the seller a new one was received with an additional rectangular plate within a day or two - excellent customer service! Highly recommended.

I was in love with this holder, I used it to watch tv in bed, but the glue that holds the plastic came off in less of a month. It can be fixed with glue, but not the ideal scenario for a recently ordered item.
