Not Professional Grade but Good For The Money
I bought this to fit over a VeGue USB mic so that we could sit in the garden and Zoom with absent friends. I'm not rigging expensive gear for that! (weather, kids, hosepipe etc.) It does the job it's built for, which is cutting down Wind Noise. Anent some of the bad reviews it is NOT a Pop Shield, Top Filter, Noise Reducer (?) or Anti Shock device. It's supposed to keep the wind off WITHOUT significantly affecting the sound level or quality. I doubt it would survive constant mount/unmount operations for too long but looked after it should last long enough to give more than your money's worth. P.S. It looks perfect with some 'Googley Eyes' pressed on.....

Seems good quality but it's HUGE
I haven't gotten a chance to use this yet. I bought my H4N to use as a field recorder for mediocre hobby level music creation. Ultimately the stakes are not that high However, if you fluff this cover up to accurately dampen residual sound, it's actually huge compared to the unit, and somewhat obscures the screen. Additionally, the tension clasp that comes with it does not adequately cinch the cord, so I tied it in the knot at the size I wanted To be fair, H4N does not have much space to accomadate a muff Time will tell if these will be a problem, but I think it will be good overall. No regrets in the purchase I would probably recommend this product, but not necessarily more strongly than any other windscreen muff.

Will arrive flat but need to wait for it to expand.
This item came in what I assume to be a vacuum sealed plastic wrap. It is very flat and look’s nothing like the original product image. I will wait 2 days to see if it rises; if it does I will update this review. EDIT: Revised my review from 1 to 5. The foam expands once left outside of the wrap.

Kinda works, poor fit.
The dead cat fits better since it has a pull string. However, the hair is already falling off when it’s put on and taken off a couple times. The foam is not cut straight and it barely fits. I had to adjust it about a dozen times to get to what’s in the picture. They do work well that’s why I’m give 3 stars instead of 1. Cheap for a season and will probably buy the real thing when these fall apart.

Fits Tascam Portacapture X8 and X6 audio recorder
As you would expect, this fits the Tascam Portacapture X8 (and X6) audio recorder as well. I've attached a couple of pictures of this on my X8.

I ordered this product for my zoom H6 and to be honest, the sponge cover is too tinny compared with the original Zoom sponge. On the other side, the furry deadcat cover is great, no complaints at all. So, in total is 50% - 50%. That's why I gave it 3 stars.
