Guumuh 4/4 Full Size Cello Shaped Fiberglass Violin Case White

As for the case itself, I took it out of the dust bag and the color is lighter than the pictures which is alright although I would have preferred a darker gray rather than a light silver. It comes with a little bag attached to the bottom to hold small items like rosin, an attached loop to hold the shoulder rest, two straps for (an uncomfortable) backpack capability and no blanket to cover the violin. The thick handle is a solid piece of molded rubber that's supposed to look like a stitched leather handle... not only is that cheesy, it's probably not going to last. The side hinges stick out quite a bit. The padding is a little on the thin side and soft but, it holds the violin well. Two bow holders, but one of them is floating like they didn't glue it down so it's not useable as a bow holder. I would not hold two bows in it as they would pinch at the neck and it's a pretty tight fit there with the violin.Superficially, it looks like other, more expensive cello shaped violin cases. But, closer inspection shows how cheaply made it is and it's missing features like better backpack clip locations. Considering the price, if it wasn't damaged, if your violin isn't a Stradivarius, it would be passable and I would give it a 2.5 star rating; don't drop it or mistreat it.

We have had this case for several months now, and overall it is a very good case. There is plenty of room inside for the shoulder rest and other small accessories.

Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this case. Solid, beautiful, and a fantastic price.
