The Ultimate Amber Teething Necklace 1. Take a few drops of acetone (fingernail polish remover) or alcohol and drip it over the surface of your piece. If the surface becomes tacky, or the fluid takes on the honey golden color of the substance, you can bet it's not amber. 2.Amber does not melt. It will burn away like incense. 3.Amber is buoyant in salt water. To do this test, mix about 1 part salt to 2 parts water and dissolve the salt completely. 4. "Hot needle" tests- the most effective. To stick a heated needle into an imperceptible place in the amber (a hole of a drilled bead, etc.). If you smell definite pine-tree resins it means it is real amber. 5.Heat treatment. All natural amber contains microscopic bubbles. When you apply heat to a single piece of amber, these bubbles evaporate and the amber becomes transparent. The greater the temperature, the darker the amber will become.

I was expecting this to be longer and when I contacted the seller they just acted like they didn't care
I was really excited upon getting this for my daughter, but then when I actually received it I found that the necklace was very small and worried me to put it on my daughter in fear it would snag on her shirt collar and choke her out. I was expecting this to be longer and when I contacted the seller they just acted like they didn't care. They didn't offer for me to ship back or refund me or anything. Seller actually acted like I was stupid for even worrying about how small the necklace was. They did respond to a few emails but then eventually they just ignored my concerns for my daughter. I'm really annoyed that I wasted $16 dollars on something I literally threw away. If I'm worried for my child's safety there's no way I would sell or give this to anyone for their child. So just know this is tiny and scary for a baby to wear. I wish now I would have spent a few dollars more and just bought one from the used baby store in my town since I know they are longer and won't choke my baby out.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this necklace!!! My son has been teething for weeks, and he gets so cranky from the pain. We had three days straight of no sleep (either at night or naps) and I couldn't take it anymore. That is when I bought this necklace.He went from not sleeping...to sleeping 8 hours STRAIGHT! Extremely Happy Mama and Baby
This necklace has helped my son sooooo much! It lessened his drooling, decreased his pain, and has made teething less of a crying event for my little man. The coloring is awesome, the amber is smooth, and I love that between each bead is a knot so if he should pull on it and snap it, then all the beads don't come off all over the place. It also came with a certificate of authenticity, which made me do a happy dance. LOL! Thank you for such a wonderful product!!

I put this necklace on my baby and he wore it for 4 months. I didn't realize how much it was helping with his teething and general well being until we lost it. I would highly recommend this to anyone struggling with a fussy baby.

screws on easily, and has a nice deep dark color
We put this around his ankle and it really does help with the drooling. We were dealing with some constipation and I wondered if it was related but was never able to figure it out. This is authentic, screws on easily, and has a nice deep dark color.

absolute garbage, fairly certain the beads were plastic, discovered this after my 1 year old bit threw one! Honestly couldn't tell if they were making a difference or not but once he was able to bite threw one and we could see it clearly wasn't amber it went in the trash, attempted to return it and was denied a refund, dont waste your money Im sure amber necklaces work but this one is garbage

Surprising results
This product really works to cut down on the drooling and pain of teething for my grandson. The second grandson is not teething as yet, but I know now that a teething necklace really does work.
