Used this for a Siouxsie and the Banshees costume and with a little trim and wig hair spray, it worked out great.

I haven't worn it for the event yet, but for "dress rehearsals", the wig fits well and stays on. It's full and looks as real as any synthetic wig I've seen.

I’m wearing this wig “everyday” morning until night, it is very comfortable and well made. It’s cap is sturdy, the wig is full and very thick but easy to comb and ~”non tangling”.~ (that’s a big deal for me) It holds its shape and is not really shedding. It’s not overly shiny either. I think it’s incredible and I’m very very happy with it, I can’t say enough about how glad I am, that I have finally found my perfect hair…truly. And I’m highly recommending it to you, if you are considering it.

Horrible. I was reading the reviews and thought I would give it a try for my Halloween costume I ended up sending it back. Don't waste your time. It is nothing like the picture shows.

It's a functional wig to be goofy with but not necessarily flattering. Easy to get fly aways and a bit heavy to wear for more than a couple of hours straight. Price is fair as you also get a fun necklace to fit the costume.

Product came just as promised. Wig, necklace, and cap. Wig was light-blonde, not yellow or platinum white. But in my opinion it is perfect. The wig had slightly more curls than the picture, but again I think it was perfect. The curls were soft and big, not too curly, very natural curls. The quality for the price was amazing. I’ve bought wigs from the Halloween store for $40 and they’re stringy cheap wigs. This one is so soft.

It was very frizzy. The side piece was all over the place. You can tell they didn’t try on the braids and it also looked nothing like the picture. I don’t recommend but it’s possible that a little styling can fix it (unfortunately I’m horrible at that)

Like others, I found the wig cap very small and the wefts were visible, not the length and quality of the hair fibers was pretty good, so I was able toake it work. In the future, I would go for a different brand for the money

The ALLAURA brand Betty golden grandma wig for women is a decent quality hairpiece capable of fulfilling the role of hair replacement/supplement, and is also priced moderately enough to qualify for other uses such as Cosplay. The parent brand is very well-known for wigs, and currently has hundreds of similar faux hair products ranging from Tina Turner to Donald Trump available on the Amazon storefront. We were pleasantly surprised to note that this hairpiece is a product of Australia. Visions of synthetic hair made from sheep’s wool byproducts began to swirl around. Alas, the actual hair used in these wigs is made from Matte silk fibers, a synthetic silk product with a built-in matte or dull finish in place of the usual shiny gloss observed with most silks. Matte silk provides a soft, thick, comfortable feel and is not easily wrinkled or creased; making it ideal for use in faux hairpieces. Just like human hair, the present product under review can also be restyled into different appearances allowing the user to feel confident about their appearance during both formal and informal wearing occasions. The interior perimeter of the wig is finished in a flexible netting cap to reduce heat and itching sensations. On a less serious note, the parent company is thankfully very open in promoting non-traditional uses for this wig, and has generously provided a number of entertaining use options in the product description. We immediately got into the spirit by placing the wig on a mannequin headpiece recently acquired from Amazon, and currently homed in a landscape mulch bed as a gag item here at the tree farm home base. The mannequin and the wig bonded together immediately and are now best mulch bed buddies as noted in the attached picture. They live together under a giant oak tree and their closest friend is a miniature fire hydrant that also serves as a de-watering spot for visiting canines. No observations to report as of yet on whether the fire hydrant or the mannequin will emerge as the dogs first choice of offloading :-) Longer-term testing of the wigs performance may be significantly challenged by the huge annual autumn acorn drop that will likely see the wig temporarily hosting dozens of acorns and a fleet of adoring squirrels fluffing up the hair fibers to reach the nutty oak treasures within :-) We expect the robust materials and construction of this wig will hold up just fine to whatever challenges await in the weeks and months ahead. This is a fun retro wig. The colour is great, really plays with the light. As you can probably tell from my pictures, since it looks a bit different in almost every picture. It's somehow both silver and gold. You'll definitely make a statement with this wig. My one complaint is how often it "sheds". Just a bit of brushing or combing tends to take out quite a few strands of hair. And you pretty much have to comb or brush it a bit, to keep it out of your eyes and cut down on the frizz. Ultimately it's worth it, and if you treat it well it should still last you a good while. But it's something to keep it mind, that does bring it down from five stars in my opinion.
