Fel-ProES 72863 Pan Snap-ups

Absolutely blown away with how useful and helpful his product was. I used this for my first time to do the relatively large, awkward oil pan on my ‘78 Ford F-150. The design has a huge cross-member that is right under the middle of the pan which makes it even harder to do than normal by oneself. Also, to get a good seal, you are supposed to use lots of RTV sealant on the pan, which can normally be a huge pain and make a big mess as you fumble with the pan while trying to get some bolts in. With these snap-ups installed, it made it a breeze by myself to get the pan in place and ready to be bolted. No sliding around or mess like I surely would have had trying to do this the traditional way.Absolute must have tool for the home mechanic, or any mechanic at that. I will be planning to buy the 6mm and 8mm options as well after how this product knocked my socks off!

Makes oil pan installation easy with one piece felpro oil pan gasket. Screw snap ups into the corner bolts pop on the gasket then snap on oil pan. Screw in the rail bolts unscrew the pop ups and install the corner bolts. Makes changing the gasket with motor still in the vehicle easy.

These Snap Ups are the greatest little simple invention I have seen in a long time. Screwed them into the engine block snapped the gasket into place. Snapped the oil plan into place, and installed the pan bolts. This took a total of eight minutes. Im actually tracked the time. Unless you have your engine inverted on an engine stand you need these. Can't say enough about how easy they make this process. Even of they cost twenty dollars they would be worth it. They were cheap, and the vendor I purchased them from got them to me in two days. I'm a happy camper!!! I'm getting more of these just to make sure I have spares in different thread sizes. WOW!!!!!!!

What a lifesaver, I mean one person large pan installation becomes a simple easy job. Just remove them before you snug any bolts up, I'll never do another pan without them, why struggle when you don't have too - those old days for me are gone, tired of them.

Great tool! These make changing an oil pan gasket by yourself a piece of cake! I’d rather buy 20 of these than see a brand new gasket leak because it wasn’t installed correctly. Worth every penny.

These snap-up guides worked even better than I could have hoped for! The ability to simply snap the gasket into place, then the pan made the job much easier as it would have been a lot more messy trying to hold everything in place while trying to get 2x bolts entered. Very good idea!
