Painted Pit Bulls 2015 Calendar Calendar – Wall Calendar, July 15, 2014

Having purchased a few of Russo's prints and some t-shirts, I eagerly grabbed up this calendar. To me it is a great deal, you are pretty much getting 12 of his prints for less than the price of one of his. Of course they aren't printed on the proper paper for fancy framing, but I am still thinking of putting some of these in a frame. There is that little hole to hang the calendar up with though on each picture, and not sure how that will work out, but I will see. One of those common craft stores everywhere sells those 12x12 picture frames for scrapbook pages, and I am hoping that might work out. I especially love it when some of the pictures look like my wonderful pit bull girl. Spread the pit love, thanks for providing this great calendar.

Such beautiful artwork with my favorite breed that just so happens to be incredibly misunderstood. Nice quality calendar, printed on durable paper. Every new month, I am eager to see the next picture as they are all very well done. I recommend to dog, animal, and especially pit bull lovers. I bought one last year and will continue to buy more throughout the upcoming years. Love that a percentage of the proceeds from the sale gets donated to pit bull rescue groups. What spectacular artwork for a functional purpose supporting a good cause!

We just adopted a pit bull from the animal shelter earlier this year - she is a total sweetheart!!! We could not have picked a more well-trained, loving, sweet, and loyal dog. I love any product, like this calendar, that tries to change the negative myths and false stereotypes about pit bulls. Love the pictures and the captions and just hope that one day entire breeds won't be maligned and labeled as killers, when nothing could be further from the truth. Many of these dogs are forced to fight for their lives, and live in terror and fear. Punish the bad owners, not the dogs!

I absolutely LOVE this calendar and cannot wait until I slowly go through the months so that I can frame some of them because they are WAY too beautiful to throw away. I sent a picture of the first calendar photo to my mother via Iphone and she just loved the painting and said that I MUST frame them. The price is all worth it. All you want to do is just keep going through the pages of the calendar to admire the photos once you first get it.. WOW. If you love art and pits then you must purchase this calendar!

This is such a beautiful calendar. I absolutely love it! I have it posted at my desk at work so I can see it all the time. Makes me want to go home and hug my pittie! I may even frame some of the photos and put them on my wall once the year is over...

A Christmas gift for my daughter-in-law. When she opened it she was thrilled. She said she already had another pit bull calendar but she was going to replace it with this one. She also liked the fact that part of the proceeds go to pit bill rescue. A winner!!

I am an avid pit bull fan, and when I saw this calendar, I had to have it. I have it hanging in my office, and everyone comments on how colorful and nice it is. I hope Dean Russo also has a 2015 calendar, because I will buy it next year!

I m not personally won over by pit bulls but this was a gift for my siter who loves them and loves this Calendar. It is colourful and well presented. Arrived quickly in time for Xmas

I purchased this as a gift for a friend. I do love the pictures, they are absolutely beautiful. I considered ordering one for myself, just for the pictures, but unfortunately, the pro-pitbull messages are ones I can't support. To suggest that pit bulls are like "any other breed" is simply untrue. Just like retrievers are not like any other breed, or Jack Russels. My Cattle Dog is certainly a cattle dog, not just by her looks, but by her behaviour. To deny that these dogs do have ingrained behaviours such as potential dog aggression is to set them up for failure. Better to recognize them for what they truly are, and promote responsible, knowledgeable ownership and management. No Jack Russel or Cattle Dog owner would suggest that their dogs were just like any other breed. Promoting responsible rescue and better yet, responsible breeding to begin with, and these dogs would be accepted the way that Dobermans, Rottweilers, and other breeds have been. As awesome companions in the right circumstances. Not every breed is right for every person, and I just think you're doing this breed a disservice by suggesting that it is. Other than that, I would consider these pictures of high enough quality to frame and display. They really are that beautiful. Hats off to the artist!
