Sherlock Holmes re-told for children : The Blue Carbuncle (Classics For Kids : Sherlock Holmes)

I have books 1, 2, and 3 from this author. The stories are retold well, the font is big and it is about a 50ish page book. Perfect for younger children. There are some issues however that the author would do well to rectify on the next edition. Some typographical mistakes have crept in (especially those that can't be caught by a spell checker e.g. "fiend" for "friend" and those really should be caught by an corrected. For younger children it would also be good to have a few illustrations. These books have no illustrations at all.

My son really enjoyed listening to me read this to him. He loves the character of Sherlock Holmes and this was a great way to hear the classic stories.

I think it's awesome !!! Fun interesting and has a lesson of forgiveness. Can you make more of these books? I enjoy these books a lot 😃

My kids who tend to lose interest in good books with “too many words” loved every minute of this...can’t wait to find the next one!

Easy to read.

A great introduction to Sherlock Holmes, my 9 year old daughter absolutely loved the book and I’ve just ordered the rest of the series.That said, they are a very easy read for a 9 year old so could easily by read by a younger child, 7/8 year old.

Was a gift to a 6 year old, who loved reading the book and was able to understand it all without help from a grown-up.
