Cutters Gloves, Purple/White, Medium

I bought these gloves because I am a washed up high school athlete. Played in a full contact Alumni Football Game and truly needed all the help I could get. Turns out they're pretty sticky little things. (They also may have magical super powers***). Caught quite a few pigskin tosses throughout the night. But the super powers came through late in the game on a crucial 4th down. The ball was zipped in my direction but it was way left and way high. Even with my eyes closed the left glove somehow shot high into the air pulling my body with it. The grippy little fingers closed onto the tip of the ball and tucked it down towards my body. As I came down falling backwards over the first down line I knew I had made the right purchase. That sticky little magical glove had snagged that ball without any help from his counterpart. Maybe it's only the left one that has magical powers. Not really sure, but either way this was a great purchase.

These are lasting twice as long as Nike gloves and function just as food. We purchasers the adult small in maroon. And add a coat of Grip Boost glove gel before every game. Half the cost of Nike and better quality. Great product.

I was really hoping these would be better for the price that they are. The catching side of the glove so far has been good, but the top side started peeling up after ONE practice. So, I am concerned as to the durability of the entire glove and how long they will last. We have only had them a week and been to one practice. I will update my review if necessary. Pictures provided to show how they didn't hold up well after one practice.

It is very difficult to review this product because they were stolen from my son while at school so I will review based on the one use of this particular pair of gloves my son had. I will say, Cutters are his favorite brand.The gloves arrived exactly as promised and they were very well made. The tackiness of the palms was exactly as my son had hoped. He used these for one game only and caught several passes (he’s a receiver) and scored 2 touchdowns (woo hoo!). He really liked these gloves due to the quality stitching, the perfect fit, the right amount of tackiness to the palms and vivid color. These were exactly the gloves he wanted. I am certain my review would have been the same if he had used these for the entire season.This was not his first pair of Cutter Gloves, he’s tried other name brands and always prefers this brand. We will buy another pair next season.

10 stars if I could. Cutters should be proud of these gloves.I play football every weekend, all year round in Wisconsin. I've burn through a lot of other brands before my wife surprised me with my first pair of Cutters last year.Busted seams were the biggest problem I had with every other brand I've used. I'd get 6, maybe 8 weeks from a pair before I'd have to replace them because they're either falling apart, no longer sticky, or just playing stink. So to me WR gloves were simply considered disposable.Not anymore.These fit perfectly and are the only gloves that survive the wash machine. They are still very tacky and have been through 30+ wash cycles (never curious enough to try them in dryer though, I always hang dry them). Other brands wouldn't survive a single wash.Over a year old and I haven't even lost a thread. The attention to detail from design to construction is why these have lasted. The gussets allow for maximum dexterity in your fingers without causing any stress on the seams or uncomfortable bunching of material.From <0⁰ to >90⁰ these gloves have allowed me to perform at my peak without letting me down.These are my second pair. I only added a color to my rotation and still use the original pair more often than the new ones. I really want to see how long I can go before they wear out completely.

My son wore these twice and one glove started splitting in the palm for some reason. He liked them until this happened. May be a defective pair,but for the price I paid, I'm not a happy camper.

I failed to read the entire description. I wanted padded receiver gloves. These gloves run bigger than their Nike counterpart. In Nike he needs a 3XL, in Cutters a 2XL would have been better. The only other thing is that the bag was ripped open when I received the gloves.Update: Don’t waste your money. See attached pictures. Worn for the first time on Friday, September 14th. I am throwing them in the trash.

These gloves are great! They're a bit snug on my hands but i have big hands and in spite of being just a tad bit tight, they feel great and i could play catch with my son or play football with the guys for hours with these gloves. Keep my hands warm when it's cold and allows my skin to breath so i don't overheat when it's hot and humid out. The grip is awesome. I never played football in an organized sports environment but my son says that i now look like Odell Beckham Jr catching with one hand & making it look easy!!

Gloves are perfect. Brand new, no wear no tear whatsoever. I've played with Cutters before and it made me want to buy a new pair. Seeing they had a good deal on I couldn't resist.So far I am satisfied with purchasing Cutters from Amazon again when the ones I have are finished.

Los mejores guantes que he tenido, se sienten bien y el grip funciona a la perfección aun no he comprobado que lavándolos se renueve el grip cuestión de darle tiempo, Advierto que se ven como en la foto pero de lejos no se nota el camuflaje, perecieran que son guantes blancos sucios.

Despite having Amazon Prime it took over three weeks to deliver this in stock item. I wasn't playing football at the time so I was not too concerned. My real complaint is the size. I have bought Cutters Receiver gloves for myself many times over the last 20 years and XL is the size that fits. These Adult XL Cutters gloves are simply too small. Making matters worse...it looks like it will cost to return them to Amazon because "do not fit" is not an option. This is my first time ordering something size dependent on Amazon and it will be my last...but I still love Cutters.

A pesar de tomar en consideración la tabla de medidas ofrecida por cutters al momento de ponerse el guante éste quedó un poco flojo, cabe aclarar que fueron un regalo para mi esposa quien tiene la mano delgada, si bien el largo del guante quedó bien sus dedos "bailan" dentro del guante debido ala delgadez.

Los guantes son perfectos, tienen gran diseño, gran calidad en los materiales, la marca es sinónimo de calidad y lo mejor fue el precio, el producto llegó al día siguiente a través de Amazon Prime, sin duda una gran elección, súper recomendables...

Son bonitos y ajustan bien, sin embargo el material del torso son muy frágiles, resistieron unos 4 juegos de tocho.

Muy buen producto. Imaginaba algo de mayor calidad, pero tal cual viene es excelente. Y entalla a la perfección.

At first these gloves were awesome, great grip but after a month to 6 weeks they started falling apart. The stitching is coming undone.

They started to peel. And I have had them only for half a season. I would think for price and name it would last longer.

Recomiendo estos guantes, algo que me gustó es que puedo recibir y lanzar pases con ellos. Otros son buenos para recibir pero incómodos para lanzar. Los uso sólo los viernes para tochito, no les doy uso muy rudo pero me han salido muy buenos!

I love these, they work amazing in rain or shine and they fit really well. Cutters is definitely the best brand for football gloves.
