Mercury Transom Saver Alternative - 2 Stroke 200-300hp Outboard Motors (Red)

Love it. Very well made. Sturdy as hell. Easy to use. No bolts to remove to mount a bracket as previous models. Just pull the heavy spring loaded pin back, insert in motor trim pin holes which meets your needs and lower your motor down as you hold in place until motor is snug in the heavy duty cups. I used my farthest pin hole so my motor skeg was highest off the ground. No more chance of dragging the skeg on the concrete when going in or out those steeper entrances coming off the highway. Make sure you order the correct model for your specific engine make, model and yr. Should last for yrs. Pricey but well made. Very happy.

This model doesn’t fit a 2020 Mercury Pro Xs 200 Hp I found out the hard way I was excited to get it and then let down because it didn’t work and then was really let down by having to pay for shipping to return it, Even though the Pro XS Mercury is listed in the description. I also asked for a model that fit as a exchange and never heard back from them.

Part came on time, fits and looks great, does much better then a transom saver.

This is a very well made product and came highly recommended by all my boating friends, but it didn’t fit my 2019 mercury Pro Sx 250 and they sent it to me anyway. I use it as a prop and bought some steering stabilizers to keep everything stable. Maybe they’ll make one to fit some day.

I purchased this for my bass boat and it works great. Previous conventional transom saver broke on me. This type is solid and easy to put in place or remove when getting boat into the lake. The road to the lake is rough and this thing keeps the outboard in place Great product and worth the money.
