I really wanted to love these bags. Visually, they are exactly what I was looking for—the size is perfect and the aesthetic is very pleasing. I also love the fact that they are expandable, which adds a lot of versatility. Unfortunately, the build quality does not match the design. The bags feel poorly constructed overall. The support straps are far too small to be functional, and the zipper on one of the bags completely came apart after only three uses. It’s a shame because the design features are excellent, but the durability just isn't there.

I think they have enough straps to fully secure the bags however, no instructions are provided in the package. Moreover, If your motorcycle is also a sport bike (like my ninja 650) I would not suggest these bags since the tail section of these type of bikes is usually higher slightly at an angle and its more narrow which makes it difficult for the bags to stay upright and secured. There is a bottom strap provided that connects the two bags bottom and this strap goes underneath the rear tail section between the tire and the tail tidy this strap will not stay tight to secure the bags as the bags will sag over in the gap between the tail and the tires. Overall the bags quality is good, straps are enough to make sure it won't fall but if you use these bags you need a rear side carrier (something to support the bags and keep them straight n upright).

I took an 1,100-mile trip on my Suzuki GSXS1000 with these bags, they didn’t just perform poorly—they were completely destroyed, and I lost several items along the way. The biggest issue is the design. The bags open from front to rear, which means the wind is constantly pushing against the opening. Over time, that pressure works the zippers open. I had to pull over every 30 minutes or so because the bags would start peeling open while I was riding. If they opened from rear to front, this likely wouldn’t have happened. The build quality isn’t any better. One zipper broke entirely, and on the other bag the stitching along the zipper tore apart, as shown in the photos. Between the weak construction and the flawed orientation, they simply can’t hold up to real-world riding conditions. To be fair, these might work for short, low-speed trips—something under 50 mph and only around town. But for highway speeds or long distances, I wouldn’t recommend them. If you decide to buy them anyway, bring duct tape, because you’ll probably need it. Funny story... an Amazon truck driver flagged me down to let me know one of the bags was open... so points for customer service??
