I purchased this hairspray for gentle styling and smoothing rather than for a strong hold. Shiny hair that stays in place
I am still very new to using hairspray and I have been doing a comparison test to see which make I like best.To date L’Oréal Elnett Shine is the winner because:-(1) The normal hold spray keeps my hair in place, but let’s it move naturally and gives my hair a natural look, not like I’ve got a hat on my head.(2) My hair doesn’t feel sticky or crunchy or stiff(3) It brushes out easily and leaves my hair feeling nice and clean. As I’m still getting used to hairspray I find sometimes I inadvertently run my fingers through my hair, this has the same effect as a brush, so I have to style / spray again.(4) Some of the sprays made my hair feel greasy and I needed to wash my hair, but this L’Oréal one doesn’t, if anything I can get a day more in between washes.(5) I like the security feature on the top of the canister, so you know it is an unused item (see photo).My only dislike is the smell, but that said none of the sprays I’ve tested have a particularly attractive smell.I think I have found the winner to my comparison test, L’Oréal Shine, the photo reflects this as I have brought the larger size can this time.

How long has this hairspray been around? Decades and decades as far as I can remember. I've been all around the houses with hairsprays but always, always come pack to this one. It works.
