seems to be a good quality...
seems very well made. simple one piece construction.loops are a seperate piece from the belt loop but would have to be. they are very snug as they should be.

Great portable bullet holder
My revolver only holds 5 shots so in any home defense, I'll likely need more bullets. I have this carrier attached to a belt (sewn in place so it doesn't slide off when quickly latching the belt) so I'll never have to surrender to someone wanting to harm me.

Not REAL LEATHER - NAUGAHYDE - more for costume than functional...
Hi - We are professional 1880s tour guides, re-enactors, and cowboy action shooters. We bought two of these in black as a cheap ammo slides, which they are. They are not made with real leather, I was expecting something foreign and thin, like goat leather, but instead they are faux leather, or naugahyde. The loops are sized for a .38/.357, and they fit and hold as long as you don't push them into the loops too hard. The rubberized fabric is more of what keeps the ammo in place. They grip too much and don't offer enough backing resistance for timed cowboy action shooting, so there is a bit of a fumbling struggle to get ammo out quickly. They are fine for re-enactments and tours if you don't mind the "cheese factor" of rubberized plastic. Because they are cheap, you don't care if they get scratched up by a junior actor or first time shooter. They are good to throw someone an extra reload of ammo, or to have on a spare gun rig. The major problem is that it tends to "drop" the shorter Hollywood Smoky Blank ammo. It'll also be interesting to see if it holds up in desert heat, or if it rapidly dries out and splits like most rubberized items around here. After I see how they hold up in the desert heat, I'll probably buy a couple more as they are cheap, mostly functional, and disposable.

Cheap materials cheaply put together
The leather. If that's what it is isof poorest quality. Sewing is s8ngle stitch . At the low price I didn't expect much.. what got wasnt of quality of Pakistani seat house toy holster.. imgoingto have sew it another line of stitch before. Considering using it..

Perfect for .38/.357
I got the .38 cal in black. The leather is still soft but It holds all 12 cartridges nice and snug. I'm going to store it loaded for a while to allow the leather to conform to the cartridges. I'm happy with it.
