Wooden Hair Combs [Gift Box] – pureGLO Anti-Static Detangling Comb Set for Men Women Kids - Fine and Wide Tooth Combs for Straight Curly Wavy Dry Wet Thick or Fine Hair

I heard about the benefits of buffalo horn comb and decided I would try it. I was told that the buffalo horn comb promotes the circulation of the scalp and help hair growth. And I ordered one set each from two different companies. The other one was cheaper. When I received both set I found that the handles of this set were rounded and better constructed as well as more comfortable to use. This set of comb had better quality and workmanship for a little higher price. The gift box made a perfect gift for lady of all ages. Authentic Buffalo horn comb is static free and is easy on tangled hair. My hair is thinning and I can’t afford to pull more out when combining it. After I started using the comb I felt my hair is more manageable and fuller. I can’t tell the results is from less fallout or more growing. It’s claim of anti- static is definitely true. I got one for my husband too who has a stubborn part of hair on his side that gel could not even tame but after he used the buffalo horn comb the unruly hair actually stayed down without gel. What’s more was the great customer service, the fine tooth comb of my set had a one tooth that was not spaced perfectly. I got my replacement in a few days after I contacted them. I own my own business so I really understand it take dedication to provide good customer service.

It is not often you can get a truly quality well made product anymore. Pureglo is surly desurving of 10 stars. I bought the set of sandlewood combs with black buffalo horn teeth. The buffalo horn teeth are well smoothed out and polished, so they won't snag your hair or hurt your scalp. Because they are a natural material, they do not build up static. The sandlewood wood handles are slightly scented, and very pleasent. One of my favorite scents.They would make a wonderful gift.Be careful to look for the Pureglo name because I bought a small tease-comb, I bought from another company, and it is sharp on my head and came in a cheap white cardboard box. Clearly not the same quality as Purego combs.

I definitely recommend this product.I just got this comb today and couldn’t wait to try it out. The comb worked amazingly!! It went smoothly through my very tangled, thick, and brittle hair! It was very forgiving with my knots and tangles and I love the feel of the handle. You can tell it is a well designed comb that is made of really good quality material because of how it “handles” my thick hair. I had bought an Ace brand comb just a couple days ago and after trying to use it, I was very disappointed. I didn’t even bother to finish combing with it. You can tell instantly when a comb works for you or not...and this pureGLO one does! I am thinking of getting another one as a backup in case I lose this one.

First and foremost, I do not get paid to write reviews. I also did not get this product free in exchange for a good review.Being ex military, I didn't have to comb my hair for a very long time. So, when I decided earlier this year to change my hair style, I was in need of a comb for the first time in 20 years.I spent days pouring over combs and their corresponding reviews before I came upon this comb. I liked the look and the price wasn't terrible, so I took a chance.I've been using my first comb for about 6 months now and it goes through a lot of abuse as I travel a lot for work. It's held up very well to the constant travel and airline handling. The wood on my first wasn't the same color as in the picture, but it's real wood. The plastic has held up nicely and overall the comb does a great job.If there is any downfall; though, some would see it as a perk is that the handle is very short. I can only put three fingers on it versus my whole hand. It's not a deal breaker, but it is noticeably the first time you hold it.I actually like this so much that I bought a second one just for my travel bag. The coloring of the wood is very different from my first, but I expect that from real wood.Overall a great product and worthy of multiple purchases.

Update 8/4/2017: After understanding in more detail how the buffalo horn teeth works and why it has a distinctive smell I am changing my rating of this comb. Keep in mind the form, fit and function of the comb is A-1. Also, the smell has started to fade after usage so I am now able to really enjoy this product. The smell is really only present on the buffalo horned teeth when the comb is wet. The sandalwood handle smells nice. Like I said the smell is starting to fade significantly since I posted my review. I also found out through further research that the smell is also a way of determining if you have a real buffalo horn tooth comb versus a fake one. So all in all I really love this comb and would definitely recommend to my friends but I would advise them to be patient and that the smell will fade.I like the construction of the comb, but the smell is very bad. It smells like something is burning. I have been trying to give it some time but the smell is not going away. The smell of this comb makes me sick to my stomach. I will be returning this comb this week for sure. Again, nicely constructed comb, but the smell is undesirable at best.

I have to say, I was surprised at how these two combs just glided through my very thick course hair. My hair tangle and these combs do the job and without scratching my scalp. The set came with a regular and a wide tooth comb, each with a storage pouch. The box looks very nice and a nice thank you card inside. These combs are made out of green sandlewood which smells fragrant like wood and the teeth are buffalo horn. The smell does die down a bit after use and amazingly won't transfer to your hair when combing. I've used them both and they have some heft/ weight to them but feel nice in the hand. These should last a long time. Love them.

Simply stunning!! I know am I really talking about a comb!! Oh yes I am, the craftsmanship is outstanding, the quality exceptional and beautifully presented in it's little box. All the other combs I have ever owned pales into comparison. This is such a luxurious item with a lovely natural scent, really nice treat or as gift. I can assure you that any recipient will feel totally special. The reason for this purchase was to stop the static, this delivers and then some it is so beautiful that I don't want to spoil it. It is slightly short, but this is easily overlooked by the sheer beauty, weight and the awesomenimity of this 7* item. I can not recommend this comb highly enough, so glad I took the chance on this one as well as the pureGLO natural sandalwood brush. Dieser Kamm ist einfach super schön verarbeitet, eigentlich kaum zu glauben für diesen Preis! Er kommt in einem hübschen Etui und mit Reisesäckchen daher. Habe ihn vor der ersten Benutzung mit Olivenöl eingeölt, da ich ihn (böse, ich weiß) auch im feuchten Haar benutze. Er ist mir gestern mal auf die Fliesen gefallen und es ist noch alles dran ;-)Ach ja: Ich habe diesen Kamm NICHT vergünstigt oder zu irgendwelchen Testzwecken bekommen, sondern ganz normal erworben, weil ich von Bürste auf Kamm umgestiegen bin - und es nicht bereut habe, im Gegenteil! Diese Rezension ist also meine absolut echte und ehrliche, unbestochene Meinung zu dem Produkt. Die Haare liegen damit gekämmt viel besser und sehen gesünder aus.
