Excellent fit paired with an excellent colour!
Accustomed to their excellent reputation as a purveyor of quality garments, I didn't expect my views to change with this slim fit sky blue shirt. And they certainly didn't with this shirt. I am ordinarily a size 15 but having lost a bit of weight, I was quite looking forward to the notch down, and I was really rather impressed with how the shirt fits. Buttoning up takes a mere couple of seconds, and you don't feel as if any particular aspect of the shirt is hugging you either too tightly or loosely. The fit in my case is perfect, and for that reason I am very pleased, and look forward to trying out other styles. Slim fit, again not my ordinary choice of fit, seemed to land very well with my physique at least. It's a very comfortable shirt that moments later you forget you're wearing an Oxford shirt for casual or business wear. My litmus test for shirt comfort passed with flying colours with this shirt. 100% cotton twill, and although I'm no expert in shirt materials, sounds premium, and more importantly, feels like it would endure through the many vicissitudes of life and the washing machine. I've never had issues from this brand before, and there's a reason I keep coming back to them. If you want the best in style and comfort, and dare I say value for money, then I would look no further than Charles Tyrwhitt! Great shirt, great style, great comfort, great value!

Slim Fitting Shirt
This is a slim fit, cotton shirt from Charles Tyrwhitt. It's well made, fits me well (I'll 180Cm tall and 71 KG in weigh). It is definitely on the slimmer fit side. I like the blue colour and the collar is very much cutaway, you are unlikely to be wearing a tie with it unless you have a massive knot. It wears well and washes well - it isn't truly iron free, but if you don't mind some light creasing then you can get away with it. A ta don the expensive side, but it's well made and wears well.

Excellent quality
This is probably the best shirt I own. It is really good quality and fits nicely. I'm a size medium and went for the slim fit, worrying it was going to be tight, but there is plenty of room in it. I've never worn a cutaway collar before, but it actually looks smart and modern. It's a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for.

An excellent, top quality shirt that looks good and feels great on
Stunning shirt, perfect fit. I went for the smaller collar - in retrospect I might have preferred the look of a larger one, but this still looks wonderful. The colour is a calming, stylish blue that looks great on the hanger and feels great on. The quality is second to none and this has immediately become my favourite shirt - others seem shapeless and uncomfortable by comparison. I’d happily stock up on a few more of these if the opportunity arose.

Very smart shirt…
This is a gorgeous shirt! The colour is a lovely crisp sky blue and it looks good! It fitted my husband perfectly, the slim fit gives a very smart tailored look without being too tight. Although its non-iron fabric we still needed to give it a light press after washing and it came up beautifully. This is perfect for dressing up for a function or wear with jeans, both look great. For the quality it is w worth the price…

Extra slim, is very small
Unfortunately it doesn't fit me well at all, it looks like a button may come flying off. I ordered my length and collar which both of those sizes are spot on, but at the stomach it's very small. However due to it's fit, feel and quality I can't really mark it below a 4*. I am so impressed with it's quality and the material used, this is easily one of the best quality shirts I've felt. The stitching is very nice and straight, the buttons feel great. The arm length is spot on and the collar is made very well. It's a shame it doesn't fit me as I would have been so happy to have this. The colour is stunning, a light blue which looks premium and the style of the shirt is very nice.

I rate it as a lot better than the M&S "Sartorial shirts" with cutaway collars -
I tested this Charles Tyrwhitt brand Shirt for Men in blue And compared it to the usual M&S "Sartorial shirts" Here's what I found... Pros ✅ The material is thin pure cotton, which feels great to wear in the summer. This to me is the big selling point now that even Van Husen's seem to be all poly-cotton material. But it shows undershirts - so get a thicker twill fabric if you wear vests. ✅ I rate it as a lot better than the M&S "Sartorial shirts" with cutaway collars - they are only poly-cotton fabric and can only be washed on a "delicates cycle" so heaven help you if you want to clear a stain (but to be fair, they cost less at £40 a shirt) ✅ fit is spot on - crucial for buying on-line ✅ I like the single cuffs - which are easy to turn up at work if needed. The arm is pleated - so movement isn't hampered. ✅ it's been washed once - and came out looking great without changing colour or shape. All report back after some more in case the collar or cuffs start to separate or the colour fades. ⭐️ Note - with this style you get tapering to the waist to provide a slim fit -- check that's your shape! Cons 👉 this is sold as a "non-iron shirt" - but really for the best look it does need ironing in my experience. 👉 it misses out a breast pocket. To me this is a false economy to save a few pence in construction as few men wear their jacket at work in the overheated offices of today so where to put your pen? Or reading specs ! OVERALL - I like this - and would be happy to get it again. VALUE? - The price rises in mens' formal shirts is very steep in recent years, so value is a big factor if you are buying 5 shirts for the working week every few years. These Charles Tyrwhitt brand ones are worth the extra over M&S "Sartorial" shirts for the better fabric, but the quality gain over my Canarie brand shirts, which are 100% cotton poplin, is small for the £35-40 extra price premium (though they seem always to be short on stock on their Amazon Store). Delivery was quick - it came the next day which is great service by the store. If this fails inside 2 years (shrinks, collar wrinkles, stitching comes undone, colour fades etc) I will be back to update my review. Was this a help?
