It's easy to use, too ¡ª just flour the mold and place the kneaded dough in the basket for that perfect rise every time. How to use a GoGoBake Banneton proofing basket properly. Proofing baskets should never be used to bake bread inside of an oven. Instead, they are created to help bread dough rise, giving it an artisan look. Always be sure to heavily flour the inside of the basket to prevent the dough from sticking. We do not recommend washing your GoGoBake Banneton ¡ª keep the rattan seasoned with flour only. How do I clean my proofing basket? Answer:To clean the baskets, scrub them out with a brush and hot soapy water. Once scrubbed, rinsed and thoroughly dry, season your basket again with the paste of corn starch and water and let that dry and you are good to go.
