The Great Smell of Brut . . .
Obviously, the smell is key. If you hate Brut, don't buy it. If you or your friend like it then it's excellent. A distinctive, masculine odour that lasts well. You don't need that much in the palm of your hand to do the job, or you could use it straight from the bottle and just 'splash it on all over' (probably best to keep clear of the sensitive bits).
