Gazley French Horn Pencil Clip Black

A necessity for all horn players! I’ve played horn for over 30 years now and feel lost in rehearsal without my pencil clip! My first pencil clip lasted 25 years before breaking at the feet of some stomps toddlers.

It works exactly as I figured it would...it holds my pencil. When I was young I didn't give a second thought to picking up a pencil when it fell to the floor during a rehearsal. Now it is a little more difficult for me to bend after a couple of hours in one position. Thus, the Pencil Clip to keep it right where I can always find and reach it.

Being a musician often means making edits to the sheet music so that it can be performed better by the performer. For me, having this little plastic clip to hold my pencil is great because now I always have a pencil with me so that every time the Director makes a change or you notice you're making an error, you can make a little edit there so that you remember for the next time that you play. Worth it definitely!

I give these as gifts to the young horn students at my school. Always a great item. Simple and effective little piece of plastic. Always keep a few extras in my gig bag in case I lose one or just to give away. So nice to have a little gadget that is brilliant in it's simplicity and usefulness.

Doesn't hook to the leadpipe as shown - attaches to tubing of horn, which is better. Lot's of pros use these because you will need to mark your music per conductors instructions.
